Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Crystal of Atlan is now available on Play Store, App Store, PC and PlayStation. This fantasy-steampunk MMO features dynamic RPG gameplay, a collection of characters and an immersive story. To celebrate the release, even Team Liquid got in on the fun with dungeon streams at launch.
  • Figment 2: Creed Valley arrives on the App Store in a dreamlike world somewhere between dreams and nightmares. This action-adventure game lets you play solo or in local co-op to explore the intricacies of the human mind. It's all available for just €7, in a unique artistic setting.
  • ReMemento: White Shadow is finally available globally on Play Store and App Store, after an initial release in Asia. This RPG with SAO-inspired graphics blends 3D and chara design in a gameplay that's a cross between classic JRPGs and modern gacha mechanics.
  • Summoners War: Rush is the new idle game from Com2uS, available now on Play Store and App Store. It features the franchise's iconic monsters in an automated farming game combining team optimisation and passive PvE/PvP combat.

Then there's the turn-based RPG Mirren: Star Legends, set in a distopian fantasy world and available in a number of countries on Play Store and App Store. Unfortunately, the French version is not yet available on all stores.

LIMBO is free this week on the Epic Games Store mobile. Feed the Pup is a gentle match-3 game with adorable puppies to feed, which has just arrived on the App Store. I, Slime, the 2D RPG that puts you in the shoes of a little slime, was released this week in certain regions on Play Store and App Store, including the Philippines.

Then there's the original TD King of Crabs, available free-to-play on Play Store and App Store. Night: Slashers Remake is now available on Play Store and App Store, with a host of grotesque creatures to smash to bits in a beat 'em up. You can play the first level for free before buying the full game for $5.

And finally, Trinity Trigger is out this week for $23 on the App Store, and takes you back to a 90s RPG.

Pre-registration, announcements, updates and test phases

  • Subnautica is coming to mobile on 8 July. This iconic underwater survival game takes you on a harrowing adventure on planet 4546B, where you'll have to explore the abyss, build your own equipment and battle sea creatures if you hope to survive. Unexpectedly, this mobile version will be available for $10 on Play Store and App Store.
  • Toria will be released at the end of June with a clear promise: that of a next-gen fantasy tactical RPG. With randomly generated dungeons to explore, interwoven stories and a varied cast of characters, the game aims to offer a rich world that can be replayed endlessly.
  • No Way Home is reopening its doors with pre-registrations on the App Store. Already known from the Apple Arcade, this space twin-stick shooter developed by SMG Studio plunges you back into an explosive galactic adventure with free access to the first chapters from its release on 5 June.
  • Soul Huntress is now open for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store. This dark and edgy roguelite takes you to the realm of Brynn to hunt down shapeshifters via a fluid combat system and progression based on your character's build.

Let's continue with gacha Trickal: Chibi Go, formerly Trickal: Re:VIVE, which is entering the pre-registration phase following its rebranding. Halfbrick Studios' roguelite arcade shooter Guncrypt enters closed beta via Halfbrick+.

Pine Hearts, a narrative game akin to a life sim, will arrive in 2025. Offroad League Online, the realistic 4x4 offroad game, is launching pre-registrations on Play Store.

Lost Sword, the isekai RPG with highly suggestive heroines, is continuing to pre-register on Play Store and App Store, ahead of its July release in Europe and North America. We end this section with the TD Ragnarok Crush match-3, which is now open for pre-registration on Play Store.

There's more from the mobile JV industry this week:

  • MLB The Show Mobile is potentially on its way, according to a Sony job posting. The popular baseball game could well receive a mobile spin-off alongside its companion app, marking a major first for the series on phones.
