Press the buzzer and force an Emergency Meeting! An MAJ (update) Among Us should be coming soon with a lot of new features. There is no official patch note available yet, but the community has already spotted several changes by checking out the October beta . This is great news for this cooperative multiplayer game!
While it has been a huge success recently, many feared that with limited resources, Innersloth's game would quickly fall into disuse... But if it continues to bring new content regularly, players should remain loyal. The little astronauts still have a great future ahead of them, if they are clever enough to escape the imposters! For those who don't have the time or the means to access the beta, we'll give you a quick overview 😉
What's new in the Among Us update
As with any beta version, changes are likely to evolve. Moreover, in the absence of an official release and no matter how vigilant the community is, there are bound to be new features that have gone unnoticed.
Anonymous Voting: As explained in our beginner's guide Among Us, the settings of a game can completely change the game experience. Innersloth has reportedly added a new option to anonymise votes during emergency meetings. A way to stir up trouble incognito while avoiding retaliation. Let's hope it doesn't break any more friendships in the future!
Hiding the mission bar: while many experienced gamers complain about the "task abuse", the indie game studio has heard the complaints. A new option allows you to show or hide the mission bar. There are 3 possibilities: show all the time, show only during meetings or never show. This update israther to the advantage of impostorsof Among Us.
Shapes on the wires: the wire mission is pretty easy on Among Us. But with this update, it's even easier, as shapes are added to the wires. It's a nice touch for those who have trouble distinguishing colours, like some colour-blind people.
How to get access to the beta?
It is well known that the Among Uscommunity is very curious. As you play, you'll surely have learned that you can't trust anyone. If you want to access the beta yourself, to see all the updates, it's very simple. From your Steam library , simplyclick on the game properties. A "public-beta" option should then appear.
Unfortunately, this is only available to PC players (and those playing on Steam). For mobile players and those who use a third-party application, you'll have to wait and follow our regular reports on the site!
