AFK Journey new season is finally here!

Today sees the arrival of the AFK Journey new season, with a whole host of surprises and new features! On the programme: two new characters, seasonal items, new mechanics... But be warned: to enjoy all this, you'll need to reach Resonance Level 240, have completed The Last Leg and finished all the AFK Stages. Here we reveal everything that Song of Strife has in store for you!

The arrival of Alsa and Soren in the AFK Journey new season

Two maulers are making their debut with the Song of Strife: Soren, an A-level thief, and Alsa.

For the time being, only Alsa is available in the AFK Journey new season. This S-level heroine is a mage who uses the powers of the earth. Her ultimate allows her to roll over herself, inflicting heavy damage and stunting her target.

Alsa can also block enemies by summoning pillars of earth. She'll be able to join your roster and shine in a team specialising in CC.

The organisation of servers into districts

One of the major new features of AFK Journey's Song of Strife season concerns the organisation of servers into districts. From now on, access to Honor Duel, the Arcane Labyrinth and other seasonal game modes will be based on districts, rather than servers, as was previously the case. This system allows each server to be assigned to a specific district at the start of each new season of AFK Journey.

Seasonal modes for AFK Journey's Song of Strife

In addition to the two new heroes, the AFK Journey new season offers you the chance to discover new and temporary modes. As you progress through the Song of Strife levels, you'll be able to unlock a special seasonal skill for each of your heroes, which can be upgraded throughout the season. The Song of Strife also unlocks a seasonal resonance system, as well as seasonal equipment.

Magic Charms in the AFK Journey new season

Magic Charms are an addition to the AFK Journey new season available only during Song of Strife. Once this season is over, the amulets can no longer be used.

These new artefacts will boost your characters with special effects and bonuses during the AFK Journey new season.

Dura's Trials

Fans of PvE in AFK Journey will be able to discover a brand new game mode: Dura's Trials. This is where you can collect the resources you need to make the famous amulets.

Try out different challenges every day, with random rewards, and do everything you can to boost your characters' performance.

The Supreme Arena, for PvP fans

From Wednesday to Sunday, you'll have the chance to take on other Alchemists from your district in three rounds in the Supreme Arena.

If you like tactical battles and strategy, then this new game mode is for you. You'll discover special squares that give you advantages over your opponents.

Other new features in the AFK Journey new season

Other surprises have been added to Song of Strife:

• Glamorous Gifts, the not-to-be-missed 7-day connection event: available from today and for 7 days, this event allows you to receive 3 boosted Invite Letters for the first 6 days. On the 7th day, you'll receive an epic chest.
• Numerous mini-games: the Beastly Rage, the Treasure Hunt and the Raging Duel are available from today, even during the next seasons of AFK Journey.
• Two new bosses in the Dream Realm: These will be added to the 4 existing bosses and will only be available to players who have obtained all the rewards offered by the infinite difficulty mode.

In order to benefit from the additions to the AFK Journey new season, you must be a member of an eligible server, i.e. a server that has been in existence for more than 42 days. If that's the case for you, we hope you enjoy Song of Strife!
