New AFK Arena heroes: crossover with Persona 5

There is no shortage of characters in the game AFK Arena which offers over 100 unique heroes. Two new AFK Arena heroes will soon enter the battle, straight from the Persona 5 universe. Joker and Queen are leaving Tokyo and its corruption to join the world of Esperia. Their new opponents are no longer criminals or crooked politicians, but they will be just as dangerous!

This is not the first crossover forAFK Arena this year, much to the delight of fans who love the winks and collaborations between their favourite works. In 2020, heroes such as Ezio Auditore (Assassin's Creed), Ainz Ooal Gown (Overlord) or Ukyo Tachibana (Samurai Shadow) have already joined the ranks of the fighters. However, not all of them have succeeded in establishing themselves in the metagame and crossover does not mean over-powered heroes. Nothing is certain for Joker and Queen , who will have to prove themselves and cannot rely solely on the love of the community.

Visually, there is nothing to complain about. The two new AFK Arena heroes adopt an appearance that is faithful to their original design. The game has also cleverly incorporated their persona (mask), Arsena and Johanna, into the arsenal of both characters. Both heroes are obviously 5-star and can be paired together. They have a natural synergy between them.

Joker : He doesn't seem to have the most thoughtful gameplay in the world. His credo is damage. He has several skills to inflict AoE damage and can also rely on a steroid to boost his firepower.

Queen : She is not outdone in AoE damage but is a more subtle and balanced profile. She will surely be able to play the role of a tank with a shield that increases according to her maximum HP. Her arsenal also includes the ability to stun all her enemies for several seconds.

Joker and Queen, the two new AFK Arena heroes in crossover with Persona 5, will arrive in the game with the New Year's update on December 30. At that time, players will be able to see the extent of their power and judge whether they deserve a place on their team. However, Joker and Queen will not be available for sale until 27 February 2021. Potential buyers will have to be patient.
