How to unlock Whiteout Survival War Academy?

Whiteout Survival War Academy is a special building that unlocks 220 days after your server starts. Instead of being tied to player progression, its availability depends on your server’s timeline.

You can track its arrival by keeping an eye on the Gen 4 Whiteout Survival heroes. The War Academy unlocks 40 days after they become available.

War Academy Mechanics & Research Tree

The War Academy is basically an upgraded Research Center that lets you boost your troops' stats and eventually unlock T11 Whiteout Survival troops, the highest tier available in the game.

Skill Tree

It works on a skill tree system with three branches:

• Infantry – Tougher frontline units.
• Marksman – Stronger ranged attacks.
• Lancer – More powerful cavalry.

You can pick a branch (or spread your focus) and level up your troops and heroes over time, making your army a much stronger one than before.

Whiteout Survival War Academy : Fire Crystal shards

Researching in the War Academy requires multiple resources, and one of the most important is Fire Crystal Shards. Here’s how you can collect them:

• Steel Exchange: Trade 50K Whiteout Survival steel for 1 Fire Crystal Shard. You can do this 20 times per day, earning up to 20 shards daily.
• Fire Crystal Exchange: Convert 10 Fire Crystals into 13 Fire Crystal Shards. With a limit of 200 exchanges per day, you can get up to 2,600 shards daily.
• Purchase Packs: If you're willing to spend real money, you can buy Fire Crystal Shard packs from the in-game store for a faster boost.

Stacking up on shards is crucial for upgrading your War Academy research and unlocking T11 troops, so make sure to use every method available!

How to upgrade Whiteout Survival War Academy?

Upgrading Whiteout Survival War Academy requires Fire Crystals, along with other standard building resources. 

Some War Academy researches require the War Academy to be at FC Level 5 or higher, meaning you won’t be able to progress in certain upgrades unless the building itself is leveled up. 

Note: If your War Academy isn’t fully upgraded yet, avoid exchanging Fire Crystals for Fire Crystal Shards, as these shards are only used for research. Since Fire Crystals are needed for War Academy (building) upgrades, spending them on shards too early can slow down your progression.
