Whiteout Survival Change State: complete guide

Whiteout Survival Change State

With a growing number of players joining Whiteout Survival, many inactive members can be found who no longer engage with the game. If you find yourself in a state that lacks activity or a supportive community, you might want to consider the Whiteout Survival Change State option. Here is a detailed guide on how to change your state in Whiteout Survival and whether it's a necessary step for your gameplay experience.

Whiteout Survival Change State : how to do it?

In Whiteout Survival, each player is randomly assigned to a State at the start of the game. Some States may fall behind in overall performance, wanting players to seek a transfer—not just for better opportunities, but also to join a more active and supportive community.

How to Whiteout Survival change state

The good news is, changing states in Whiteout Survival is possible with a bit of hard work. Here are a few Whiteout Survival Change State options:

Create a new character

If you’re seeking a quick way to change your state, try creating a new character. This option allows you to avoid difficult requirements and can be done anytime during your playthrough. Here is a step-by-step process on how to create new characters for Whiteout Survival change state:

  1. Click on your icon on top-left corner and access to Chief Profile.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select "Characters" in the settings.

  5. Select the State and create. This will lead you to a introductory cutscene and you'll start a new journey in a brand new State.

Players should keep a few important points in mind: they can only have 2 characters per state and a maximum of 10 characters in total for each account.

Additionally, using this method means starting fresh, as progress cannot be transferred to the new character. However, players can easily switch back to their previous character and progress by going to the settings.

Transfer during SvS

During the highly anticipated Whiteout Survival State vs. State event, players have the opportunity to temporarily relocate to the opposing state and place their city there. It is possible with the item called Cross-State Teleporter, which can be obtained during the SVS event itself.

SvS transfer

Once successfully teleported, players can now attack their opposing state's cities in order to win the State vs. State event. However, this Whiteout Survival Change State method is temporary as players return to their own state after the event is concluded.

State Transfer event

One of the newly introduced events in Whiteout Survival is the State Transfer event. As the name suggests, players can transfer their city to a completely different state. However, there are several requirements to fulfill before making the permanent transfer.

  • The player has a Furnace level 20 or higher.
  • The city is not in combat.
  • The player is not a President of the state.
  • There are no injured in the Infirmary.
  • You must have the required number of Transfer Passes. The requirement for these passes varies from state to state. Some states may need only 2 Transfer Passes and some can require up to 75 Transfer Passes.
  • More than 30 days have passed since the last transfer.

Note: If you change state in Whiteout Survival during a State Transfer event, you will be permanently moved to the new state. You can only switch to another state after 30 days.

Whiteout Survival Change State: is it necessary?

The Whiteout Survival Change State option is not a necessary step, and most players progress while remaining in the same state assigned to them. However, with the influx of players and the numerous states in the game, many states may become inactive, resulting in little to no community engagement.

The inactivity can make it hard for active players to join important events like State vs. State, putting them at a disadvantage because there aren’t enough participants. Plus, many alliances in these quiet states might have trouble finding members to participate actively.

Regardless of the reasons, players always have the option to switch to a new state by following one of the methods for changing states in Whiteout Survival mentioned earlier.
