The 2.6 update of Genshin Impact has opened the doors to the Abyss, at least the outside access. To unlock the underground part, you must complete the first part of the world quest series The Chasm Delvers. This detailed guide explains how to access the lower area of the Abyss and complete the quest Breaking the Seal of the Seven Stars in Genshin Impact.
The prerequisites to complete the quest "Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering" in Genshin Impact
In order to unlock this quest, you must first complete Chapter II - Act IV of the Archons quest and complete the quest In the Depths, an Unexpected Reunion. It allows you to meet Zhiqiong, your guide.
Recovering the lumenstone
The first step of the quest Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering in Genshin Impact is to retrieve the Lumenstone. It is located in a warehouse south of your position. Once there, you will be confronted by looters. After defeating them, take the gadget.
Break the seal to access the underground part of the Abyss
To progress further in the adventure, you must break the seal that keeps the Abyss sealed. To do this, you'll need to break five Bedrock Keys in the quest Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering. Can't finish this game? Don't worry, we'll give you the solution step by step. We also give you our tips and tricks, such as placing a Geo character like ZhongliNingguang or the Geo Traveller in your team.
Destroy the first bedrock key
You are faced with a floating structure that you must drop onto the key. Start by breaking one of the rocks nearby to unlock a Geogranum. This will be used to charge the cage-shaped Geo. Then position yourself in front of the key and hit the cage-shaped Geo to fire a crystal projectile in the direction of the key. Then do the same with the other two coalescences. There is no set order to complete this step.
To locate them, follow the energy flow from the key. Once the bedrock key is destroyed, return to Zhiqiong. She will give you a map with 3 more keys.
Destroy all the bedrock keys
The Bedrock Keys are the most technical part of Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering. The location of the keys is indicated on your map. Just go there, in any order. You can easily locate the cage-shaped Geo by the energy flows from the key. You will find Geo Stones to charge them in the vicinity of each key.
The one at the Glaze Peak, located to the east, is more complex. You must go to a lift to hit the first coalescence (having first picked up a Geogranum). Repeat the same procedure for the second coalescence on the other side. You will have to act quickly to succeed, as the lift does not stop. The final coalescence is on the ground, but is guarded by Treasure Hoarders. To complete this part of the quest, simply win the battle. You will then realise that it is Millelith. This encounter unlocks the Undetected Infiltration side quest.
Once you have broken the three substratum keys, return to Zhiqiong for the final part of this guide. She will show you one last key. Climb the cliff and use it to unlock the Statue of the Seven of the Abyss. Follow the path below. It leads to the entrance of a mine. Once you reach your destination, use the Geo coalescences in front of you. After a brief battle with Geosaurs, the seal is finally broken, leaving you free to explore the mines of the Abyss and continue with the end of the quest Breaking the Seal of the Seven Stars.
End of the quest "Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering" in Genshin Impact
