Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival: Game Mechanics
The event mechanics of Canyon Clash may seem confusing for some players. This is due to the various stages and multiple rules that come with this event.
Event Schedule
Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival spans a total of six days, each dedicated to a specific phase of the event. Here’s a breakdown of the schedule:
Monday and Tuesday: Players vote to select their preferred timezone for battles.
Wednesday and Thursday: Registration opens, allowing players within each alliance to sign up for the event.
Friday: Matchmaking begins, with the opponent alliance being randomly selected.
Saturday: The main event—battle day.
The Canyon Clash battle is a one-hour event, divided into three stages:
Stage 1 of Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival: Seize and Conquer
Focus on occupying gates and buildings within your territory. You should defend key entry points, such as bridges, to avoid enemy raids into your territory. Capture a few buildings by tapping on them from other alliances if possible, but avoid leaving your territory vulnerable.
Stage 2: Fortress Occupation
Fortresses open in various locations. Occupy as many fortresses as you can in order to gain points and win. If feasible, target the fortress in enemy territory for extra points, but don’t spread your forces too thin.
Stage 3 of Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival: Citadel Onslaught
Frozen Citadel is the most important building of Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival. Occupying it means gaining a significant amount of points along with various bonuses. The Frozen Citadel becomes accessible in the final stage, and the alliance that defeats the final guard takes initial control.
If your alliance doesn’t secure the citadel, focus on cutting off the controlling alliance’s reinforcements. If your alliance controls the citadel, make sure there's a steady flow of reinforcements to maintain control while defending other key positions.
Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival : Additional Points
An important resource fuel is used during the battle. Players use fuel to deploy, heal, retreat, conscript, and revive your troops. Therefore, strategic play is essential in order to manage fuel.
Players collect fuel automatically overtime and need to use it mindfully.
High-ranking players (R4 or above) can give a player the role of "Guardian". A Guardian will collect fuel at a much faster rate. A Chief garrisoned at a building can also make themselves a Guardian.
All the buffs can be used in Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival except march speeds and deployment bonuses.
Winning a battle in Canyon Clash in Whiteout Survival not only rewards individual players but also rewards the alliance with valuable resources. Plus, throughout the event, you'll have access to the Canyon Shop, where you can purchase rare and essential items. Ultimately, success in Canyon Clash comes down to solid team participation, clear communication, and a well-thought-out strategy!
