Top mobile games for June 2025

Don't know what to try out on your phone - on the move, at home or even in the toilet? Every second spent gaming has to be worthwhile, so the Mobi.gg editorial team has put together a selection of the best mobile games of June 2025. These high-quality free and premium titles were released in May, but they're sure to complete your collection and are available now on Android or iOS.

Our favourite mobile games of the month

This month we've fallen for two great new releases. Make room on your storage space, because these mobile games are going to be hard to resist.

Crystal of Atlan

Headliner Crystal of Atlan has made its way into our top games of the month list, with a release for mobile, PC and PlayStation. Set in a world that describes itself as magicpunk, a kind of steampunk with magic and fantasy, discover a dynamic RPG offering a dozen classes to try out in your single-player and co-op multiplayer battles!

The game relies on its aerial combat mechanics to give you a hell of a lot of freedom of movement in PvE and PvP up to 3v3. The world of Atlan looks rich enough to keep you on the edge of your seat for a long time, without the need for an auto mode. As you progress through ruins, dark paths and forests, learn to master the powers of Qi against a backdrop of cinematic anime graphics.

Collect unique characters and explore the world and story of Crystal of Atlan free of charge on a fairly eco-friendly model for the time being. As an MMO, the title obviously encourages you to take part in social activities and join a guild to make virtual adventure companions. Together, you'll be able to explore the depths of dungeons and take on bosses using your unique synergies and mechanics. Don't miss our Crystal of Atlan tier list and CoA codes!

Sunset hills

After a lovely kickstarter, Sunset Hills has spread its little legs on the Appstore and Google Play Store. The port wasn't even reached in the stretch goals, but the game powered by Cotton Game didn't give up and still got its mobile version.

Looking for an experience with the keywords cute and moving? In a beautifully coloured Victorian setting reminiscent of Violet Evergarden? Look no further than Sunset Hills, a world populated by puppies in a post-war universe. In this puzzle adventure game, you play as the little dog Nico, who returns from the war to become a writer 7 years later.

With a notebook and a copy of your book under your arm, you set off on a journey to find your former companions in misfortune. Travelling from city to city and station to station, you retrace the thread of your friendships and try to hold back a tear from time to time. You'll be treated to plenty of shared memories and an explanation of your initiation quest, while enjoying the simplified controls and the fairly fat text on the screen.

The world is really pretty and full of little puzzles. But the key to your journey will be a series of wonderful encounters, mysteries to solve, crimes to solve and Victorian scenes embellished by meticulous art direction.

Available on Android and iOS for just under $9, Sunset Hills is well worth a visit if you're looking for an enchanting tale that will keep your eyes glued to the screen for a few hours while taking you on a journey.

Before I tell you about the other games of the month, I wanted to remind you that we've got a page bringing together the very latest mobile games for those who like to be ahead of the trends.

Yaya
Yaya Yaya would never have spent a single cent on a mobile game. At least, that's what the legend says.
