The top mobile games to try out in July 2025!

Top mobile games for July 2025

Don't know what to try out on your phone - on the move, at home or even in the toilet? Every second spent gaming has to be worthwhile, so the Mobi.gg editorial team has put together a selection of the best mobile games of July 2025. These high-quality free and premium titles were released in June, but they're sure to complete your collection and are available now on Android or iOS.

Our favourite mobile games of the month

This month we've fallen for two great new releases. Make room on your storage space because these mobile games are going to be hard to resist.

Marvel Mystic Mayhem

Looking for a solid gacha RPG experience? After several rounds of closed beta and a soft launch, Marvel Mystic Mayhem is making its mark on phones this month. If you're a fan of tactical turn-based RPGs, get on board for the adventure of superheroes from the world's biggest licences in a strategic gacha adventure.

Mystic Mayhem lets you put together a team of three heroes, including Scarlet Witch, Moon Night and Captain America, to battle the forces of Nightmare, the big bad ruler of the dream dimension.

Assemble your escapade against bosses or in game modes with a variety of constraints. You can then upgrade your heroes to infinity with the materials you collect to accumulate ever more power.

So get your capes, skin-tight jumpsuits and superpowers ready, because you're going to need them for this free-to-play experience on Android and iOS. What's more, the editors have prepared the Mystic Mayhem codes for you, as well as a full tier list!

Mutazione

Kai is 15 when she comes into contact with the discreet, reclusive community of Mutazione. This soap opera takes her through supernatural settings while she looks after her sick grandfather, Nonno. The town is alive with friendships, but also rumours and betrayals that simmer beneath the surface. Participating in conversations is sometimes less useful than spying on others.

Mutazione has all the makings of a great journey that doesn't pay much attention. It will take you back to the meteorite event a century ago that gave the inhabitants their mutations, but it will also take you to barbecues, boat trips and simply enjoying life as you meet new people.

As the darkness seems to thicken, drama unfolds and the world is turned upside down. But you can swap seeds with your friends and customise your own little garden to music and take a breather. Mutazione shines with its incomparable atmosphere and poetic illustrations for just €10 on stores.

Before I tell you about the other games of the month, I wanted to remind you that we've got a page bringing together the very latest mobile games for those who like to be ahead of the trends.

July's must-try mobile games

With dozens of releases a day on the various game shops, it's hard to keep track. So we've gone through it all for you, and here are the best releases of the past month to try out over the next 30 days:

  • Etheria: Restart is an anime-like post-apo game on Play Store and App Store, following a story set in the distant future after a long ice age. In-game, you create synergies between the animus, your characters, to get a solid compo and deploy all your power in turn-based battles. Take advantage of PvP and PvE modes, as well as original challenges to prove your worth.
  • Kingdomino invites you to break the high score barrier against your friends by becoming the most skilful at positioning dominoes. In games lasting 10 to 20 minutes, available on Play Store and App Store, challenge your friends (up to 4 players) as well as the AI. On your 5x5 or 7x7 kingdom, use your drafting skills to win.
  • Silver and Blood offers a free RPG adventure on Play Store and App Store, with many hours of gameplay ahead of you. Assemble your team of servants from 50 vassals divided into 4 factions, each with their own special talents to assist your compo. Explore the dark corners of this world where blood is at the heart of everything, and take advantage of a large cast to keep you company on your adventures.
  • FIFA Rivals features casual arcade gameplay and an NFT system for collecting digital cards from official players. Whether turn-based or real-time, alternate between precision strikes and strategic decisions after building your team of favourite players, on Play Store and App Store.
  • The Final Outpost Definitive Edition lets you manage your farms and assign tasks to avoid losses. Adapt to the seasons, train your citizens and prosper day after day. This simulation game is available on Play Store and App Store.
  • Broken Sword Reforged is a remaster of the original that puts you on the trail of the Templars' secrets, from a Parisian café to the back streets of Europe and even to the heart of the mysteries of the Middle East. The game invites you to solve riddles that have, frankly, not aged at all, and it's a cocktail of adventure that's as good as new, on Play Store and App Store.
  • UmaMusume Pretty Derby puts you in the role of a horsewoman trainer. Each race is an opportunity to compare the statistics of your champions and train them to reach the top. This free management game is a huge hit on Play Store and App Store.
  • Persona 5: the Phantom X lets you take on the role of a Phantom Thieves group leader exploring Tokyo in a mobile version of the famous RPG. Alternate between student life by day and supernatural adventures by night with your Personas, on Play Store and App Store.
  • What Duck is a casual TD with a cartoon DA, in which you spend your action points to create ducks. Use your troops and constructions to hold off enemy assaults all along the trail. The game is available offline on Play Store and App Store.
  • Space Squad Survival lets you slowly explore the planets around you, hunting for food and learning to manage your first resources. Then you take possession of the different rooms in your ship and have to start managing your crew more firmly, on Play Store and App Store.
  • Shadowverse Worlds Beyond is a Japanese competitive TCG with over a million users, thousands of possible decks and a visual style reminiscent of Square Enix's J-RPGs. Much criticised for its business model, the game is available on Play Store and App Store.
  • Tree of Savior NEO is an MMO set in a fantasy world where you can meet new people after choosing from one of the 5 classes available. With your fellow adventurers, take on bosses, demon gods and a whole host of enemies, on Play Store and App Store.
  • No Way Home is an adventure shooter that takes you on a quantum leap to the far reaches of the universe. Use the scenery to take cover from pirates, monsters and other swarming critters. Choose your weapons and components carefully to navigate this procedural world, available from the App Store.
  • Ultimate Chicken Horse on Play Store and App Store is a must-have multiplayer platformer, despite its less-than-stellar port. In-game, you take on the other players on a tricky course - and a very tricky one at that, since it's the players who set the traps in each round.
  • TOEM A Photo Adventure, available in early-access on Play Store and App Store, is a game in which you have to take photos in a cute black-and-white world. Relax, take photos for others, observe the details of all the settings and enjoy a pleasant journey.
  • Goat Simulator 3: Multiverse of Nonsense is the standalone dlc for Multiverse of Nonsense, which is reaching out its hairy paws on Play Store and App Store for more and more horny destruction. You're everywhere and you must, with your mad goat methods, fix your bullshit by leaping into alternate realities. In fact, you can break through reality at a moment's notice.

Thanks for reading this far. I hope you enjoy your gaming sessions this month.

Yaya
Yaya Yaya would never have spent a single cent on a mobile game. At least, that's what the legend says.
