Top mobile games for February 2025

Don't know what to try out on your phone - on the move, at home or even in the toilet? Every second spent gaming has to be worthwhile, so the Mobi.gg editorial team has put together a selection of the best mobile games of February 2025. These high-quality free and premium titles were released in January, but they're sure to complete your collection and are available now on Android or iOS.

Our favourite mobile games of the month

This month we've fallen for two great new releases. Make some room on your storage space, because these mobile games are going to be hard to resist.

Archero 2

We're kicking off this top list with the game that Yaya has sanded down the most since its release: Archero 2. You're probably familiar with the hooded archer who transforms himself into a military turret as he accumulates upgrades. Well, one of the world's best-known mobile games, as much for its gameplay as its advertising, is back for a second instalment with even more projectiles and game modes.

Become a master archer: you have to move to dodge projectiles but remain static to shoot. Each level you survive earns you xp and allows you to invest in upgrades of all kinds. Support sprites that fire an element such as poison, fire or lasers, damage orbs that gravitate in a circle or arrows that bounce off walls, for example.

Each run invites you to change your gameplay a little to beat all the levels and bosses in each tier. But there are also little challenges with a set survival time, or PvP with your home-grown stuff. Archero 2 is a solid roguelite that only has ads when you die and runs fairly well free-to-play on Android and iOS.

It'll sit nicely on your phone for runs in waiting rooms, toilets and on the move that test your dodge reflexes and gameplay strategies.

Rainbow Six Mobile

It's been a long time coming, with a long beta, but Rainbow Six Mobile is coming to France with all its modes and agents. Whether you're a long-time R6 player or an FPS enthusiast new to the game of tactical close-quarters combat, you're bound to have a great time. Whether you're a long-time R6 player or a newcomer to the game of close-quarters combat and tactics, you're sure to have a great time.

Infiltrate the area with the drone to spot enemy defences, lay traps or plant the bomb and defend it by killing the opposing squad down to the last soldier. Depending on the game mode, the number of rounds to be won varies, as do the objectives.

It varies from 5 to 20 minutes' play depending on your sessions, and it's totally free even if you have to loot some of the stuff and agents via the Battle Pass.

Before I tell you about the other games of the month, I wanted to remind you that we've got a page bringing together the very latest mobile games for those who like to be ahead of the trends.

Yaya Yaya would never have spent a single cent on a mobile game. At least, that's what the legend says.
