Preview patch 2.2 Wild Rift: ARAM, Wild Pass and 5 new champions

The developer diary has announced the preview of patch 2.2 on LoL: Wild Rift. The least we can say is that the schedule looks extremely busy! TheARAM Wild Rift will make its appearance during this cycle, but this fun game mode will not come alone. With the new ranked season coming up in April, the game will introduce a Wild Pass that will allow you to collect a maximum of rewards. As if that wasn't enough, 5 new champions will also appear and the in-game item shop will receive a small update.

All the details are not yet known, we will have to wait for the official release of patch 2.2 to find out more. However, the roadmap already seems very clear; we advise you to fasten your seatbelts. We'll give you an update by condensing all of this in our article!

People demand ARAM mode on Wild Rift

LoL: Wild Rift has a competitive streak in its DNA and could very quickly become one of our top competitive mobile games. But players are also fond of fun modes, which allow them to rest without having to try too hard. The community should therefore be delighted to welcome the ARAM mode soon. A mode that focuses on fighting with a good dose of randomness. The 10 players meet in a single lane and receive a random champion at the beginning of the game.

The developers have warned that the ARAM Wild Rift mode will require some balancing, especially for champions usually played in the jungle on Summoner's Rift. But it won't be enough to spoil the fun for players.

Introduction of the Wild Pass

Battle Passes have become a staple of the video game world, and LoL: Wild Rift has decided to introduce their own. Called Wild Pass, it will allow players to gain experience and Blue Essences by playing games. The exact price is not yet known, but the offer will be à la carte with several possible modalities:

• Free Wild Pass: offered to everyone. It will unlock some rewards.
• Paying Wild Pass: to get more loot.
• Wild Pass Elite: faster progression with bonus missions and free pass levels.

5 new champions on the grill

Patch 2. 2 will also welcome 5 new champions. Before testing them in Ranked, you might want to run a few ARAMs to hope to get a chance to test them quietly!

• Galioa tanky mage.
• Rammus, a tank that drives very fast.
• Kha'Zix, a very mobile assassin.
• Rengar, an assassin who plays cat and mouse.
• Renekton, a dominating noisemaker .

The duolan may feel a little aggrieved, as there will be no shooter or support in this new rotation. Affected players can always console themselves with the arrival of new skins like Soraka Stargazer or Draven Draven. Finally, the in-game shop will receive an update that will introduce new items and modify several icons. The aim is to gradually get closer to the PC version's shop.
