Mobile games released this week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with a number of games now available on the stores:

  • Evoland 2 and Out There are free from the Epic Games Store on Play Store and App Store this week. Enjoy a multi-genre adventure with Evoland 2 and an intense narrative space journey with Out There.
  • Children of Morta adds an online co-op mode, allowing you to play the story and challenges with a friend. To mark the occasion, keys to the game are up for grabs on our Discord, and it's on special offer at half price until 1 April.
  • Steel Paws, Yu Suzuki's new game, is available to Netflix subscribers on Play Store and App Store. Climb a mysterious tower with mechanical creatures and battle monsters in a vertical beat'em up.
  • Gordian Quest, a mix of deck-building and tactical RPG, is out on Play Store and soon on App Store. With over 800 skills and 700 cards, this dark fantasy game promises a rich and strategic adventure.

PBJ The Musical, with its eccentric art direction and puzzle/platform gameplay, is out on the App Store, while SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered is now available on consoles, PC and the Play Store and App Store. This Square Enix RPG is priced at $30.

King's League II is out on Play Store and App Store for $4, offering a mix of strategy and team management. Mino is a match-3 game where you balance dinosaurs on a wooden board, available free on Play Store.

Then there's Shambles: Sons of the Apocalypse, a post-apocalyptic narrative RPG combining deck-building and roguelike, on Play Store and App Store. Backyard Baseball '97 is back on Play Store and App Store and Steam for $4.60. Build up your team and hit one home run after another in this cult game from the 90s.

We end this releases section with Your House, out on the App Store and opening pre-registration on Play Store. This narrative escape room game plunges you into a mysterious investigation of a haunted manor house.

Pre-registration, announcements, updates and testing phases

  • Prince of Persia The Lost Crown arrives on Play Store and App Store on 14 April with its fast-paced side-scrolling gameplay. The game supports controllers and offers 60FPS with various accessibility options.
  • Ultimate Chicken Horse is coming soon to Play Store and App Store with its competitive platform concept where players set traps. Pre-registration is open for those who want to test their ingenuity and betray their friends.
  • Etheria: Restart is now open for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store for fans of turn-based strategic RPGs. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, battle a mysterious virus by creating synergies between your characters.
  • Minion Rumble, the new game from Com2uS, is now open for pre-registration on Play Store. Lead an army of capybaras and cats to fight bosses and upgrade your equipment.

Meanwhile, Tougen Anki RPG, the mobile adaptation of the anime, was announced at Anime Japan 2025. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin resurfaces with a teaser site and new social networks.

Finally, Duck Town will be released on 27 August, with gameplay combining rhythm and animal simulation. Collect and feed your ducks to music on Play Store and App Store.

Other news and events from the mobile games industry

There's more from the mobile JV industry this week:

  • Crunchyroll Game Vault reaches 50 games in its catalogue, accessible with a Mega or Ultimate subscription. The latest additions include The House of Fata Morgana, Magical Drop VI and Kitaria Fables.
  • CD Projekt Red is teaming up with Scopely to develop a Play Store and App Store game based on one of its licences. No further details have been released as yet.
  • Nintendo Today! is a new official application available on Play Store and App Store. It brings together all the latest news, updates and exclusive content from Nintendo.
