This explains why, at times, the servers are struggling to keep up. No one had anticipated such an explosion. If we only take the month of September 2020, more than 84 million mobile players have installed the game (30 M via iOS and 54 M via the Google Store).

What's next for Among Us?

Now thatAmong Us has succeeded in winning over its audience, it must now succeed in maintaining a good momentum. It can't just rest on its laurels and must think about integrating new content. At the moment, the game is still fun. But a feeling of repetition can start to appear for those who go to the party after party. There are only 3 different maps and the mini-games (quests) are a bit monotonous.

While there was supposed to be an Among Us 2 soon, the game studio preferred to postpone this project. They are aware that players expect new features soon. InnerSloth has therefore promised to bring updates to the original game soon. We can expect more maps, more game settings (visual effects, quest bar camouflage, etc.) and new mechanics to move around the map or flush out imposters.
