This article will entail every content that's about to come for Genshin Impact Version 4.3, including thenew characters, events, quests, artifacts, TCG, updates and more.
The new Genshin Impact 4.3 is set to dazzle with four 5-star DPS characters; the new Fontaine 5-star character, Navia, alongside Ayaka, Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya.
The first phase of Genshin Impact 4.3
From December 20, 2023 to January 9, 2024, the new character Navia, and Ayaka will be available in the Featured banner for a limited time period.
Since it's been a while since players have seen a 5-star Geo damage-dealer, there will undoubtedly be a lot of excitement surrounding her arrival. Navia is the brand-new Geo Claymore character from Fontaine. She is an Ousia-aligned on-field DPS who capitalizes on Elemental Crystal Shards from the Crystallize reaction to dish out large amounts of Geo damage. Interestingly, Navia is set to be the first Geo on-field DPS who will not benefit from a mono-geo team.
Ayaka is also set to make her return in Genshin Impact. As a 5-star character from Inazuma, she excels in dealing both single-target and AOE Cryo damage through her normal attacks, elemental skills, and burst.
It will also be accompanied by the weapon banner, featuring Ayaka and Navia's weapon; Mistplitter Reforged and Verdict.
The second phase of Genshin Impact 4.3
For the second part of Genshin Impact 4.3, Raiden Shogun, the 5-star Electro Archon, and Yoimiya, the 5-star Pyro bow DPS, will be return temporarily from January 10 to January 30, 2024. Apart from the return of these characters, Chevreuse, a 4-star Pyro support will join the fray.
Chevreuse is a polearm-wielder Pyro character holding a musket, capable of dealing Pyro AOE damage, and restoring health. Aside from these, Chevreuse is a perfect addition to Overload teams thanks to her ability to decrease the Electro and Pyro resistance of the opponents.
The two Inazuma characters' signature weapons; Engulfing Lightning and Thundering Pulse will also be available.
New artifacts for Genshin Impact 4.3
The new patch will also introduce two brand-new artifact sets; Song of Days Past and Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods.
The first set, Song of the DaysPast provides healing bonus when equipping two pieces of the set. On the other hand, completing the artifact set allows players to have the Yearning effect upon healing a party member, which lasts for six seconds. For this duration, it will record the total healing before transforming into the "Waves of Days Past" effect. This effect boosts the damage of normal, charged, elemental skill and elemental burst by 8% of the total healing amount recorded by the Yearning effect.
And for players pulling for Navia, the second set is certainly a must-have. Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods increases attack by 18%. Additionally, it boosts Geo damage by 20%, which further increases by 150% while under a shield provided by the Crystallize reaction.
New Story Quest: Navia Story Quest
There won't be an archon quest available this time around. But players and upcoming Navia-mains will be able to discover the story of Navia, Rosa Multiflora Chapter: Act I. This will also entail the story of the Fontaine organization led by Navia, the Spina di Rosula and its plans of rebuilding Poisson.
