Understanding the Neverness to Everness build system

The build system on NTE is based on several elements: arcs, cartridges and Esper reactions. Before you start building a character, you'll need to find out more about his Esper attribute (Anima, Incantation, Lakshana, etc.), so that you can choose the items that best suit him.

Arcs

In Neverness to Everness builds, arcs are actually your characters' weapons. These NTE arcs improve your character's attack or attribute damage stats. Bows can be obtained in different ways:

• Temporary and permanent banners: you'll need to spend Annulith to draw them.

• Via the various challenges offered in the game: certain modes allow you to farm these items, which are essential for NTE builds.

• Anomaly commissions: Anomalies can loot arcs.

• By increasing your Tycoon Level: this is at the heart of the game. Increasing your Tycoon Level allows you to obtain some very interesting rewards, including arcs.

Cartridges for NTE builds

Cartridges are also central to your Neverness to Everness builds. Like bows, they boost your character's stats (damage, buff or survival) and are made up of several parts (2 or 4). Each cartridge is available in two versions: epic and legendary.

Understanding Esper's reactions

Each NTE character has an Esper attribute, one of the following:

• Cosmos

• Anima

• Incantation

• Chaos

• Psyche

• Lakshana

These attributes can create specific reactions and synergies that will boost your damage. To build your Neverness to Everness builds, you'll need to take note of your characters' reactions to create Esper combos.

How do you farm upgrade materials for your NTE builds?

Farming bows and console cartridges is fairly easy in Neverness to Everness. All you have to do is go to the Exploration Guide : you'll find various game modes dedicated to upgrading these two items. And if all that sounds a bit vague, I suggest you take a look at our NTE beginner's guide.
