In this Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds best classes guide, we introduce you to the 5 different classes: Swordsman, Witch, Destroyer, Rogue and Engineer. Each of these classes has strengths and weaknesses. Also, the skills of some characters are more difficult to unlock in free-to-play. To help you choose the type of gameplay that suits you best, we've put together this Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds best classes guide. In order to compile this tier listIn order to create this guide, we've based it on the performance of the characters, but also on how to get their best skills.
We have made this Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds classes tier list to help you choose your class. The game offers a huge content, so you will spend many hours with your character. That's why we advise you to choose a gameplay you like: DPS, tank, support or ranged fighter. If in doubt, don't hesitate to try the available characters.
While all classes are equal, their skills are not to be ignored. Unlocking certain special skills and passives, such as those of the Swordsman and the Witch, requires a significant investment: you'll either have to rely on luck or buy them directly from the game's store. In addition, if you want to upgrade your skills, you'll need to collect multiple copies.
While not the most powerful character in terms of pure DPS, the Engineer has a lot going for her. First of all, you can unlock her best special skills and passives for free and quite early in your adventure.
The Engineer is essentially a support role. She will be able to heal the entire team with her Healing Tree spell. She is also the only class that can bring a character back to life with the special skill Resurrection. You can unlock this spell in exchange for Domination Medals.
Also, you get Time Leap, one of the best buffs in the RPG, when you first start using the Engineer. This skill reduces the cooldown on all characters' abilities and increases the damage of normal skills.
As for the Engineer's liabilities, you can easily access the most interesting ones: Medic in exchange for 1,000 Domination Medals and Protection of Light, which unlocks for free at the beginning of the MMORPG.
However, you will have to go to the store to get Quick Reload. The passive offers a chance to reduce the cooldown of a special skill after using a normal attack.
As for the gameplay, in addition to the special skills, the Engineer attacks from a distance with her gun. She can perform aerial attacks that stun enemies, reduce their movement speed and fire projectiles that explode on impact.
If you like to play as part of a team and want to be a healer, you should choose the Engineer. If you prefer a pure DPS role, choose the Witch or the Swordsman.
The Engineer, for its versatility and free-to-play friendliness, takes the first place in our ranking of the Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds best classes.
Do you enjoy fast and dynamic ranged DPS? Then you'll love the gameplay of the Rogue. As an added bonus, like the Savant, her best skills can be unlocked without having to pay money, making her the top of this Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds class tier list.
The Rogue will be able to do a lot of damage with his bow and confuse the enemy. His reinforcement abilities will also boost your division when playing as a team.
You unlock two of the Rogue's best spells simply by completing the story quest. Blazing Heart increases the ATK of the Rogue and your division members and Solar Flare slows and stuns enemies.
However, to get Gravity Arrow, you'll have to either buy it in the game's store or hope to loot it from the world boss Ardor.
As for the passives, we recommend Quick Move to increase your movement speed, Burst Charge to speed up the charging of the Burst Skill gauge, and Enmity to increase the damage when you attack, but also the damage you receive.
In short, the Rogue does great damage from a distance, weakens enemies and boosts his allies. You can easily get your hands on his best skills, and then upgrade them in free-to-play mode.
On the other hand, the Rogue is rather fragile. If you play exclusively solo, it may present you with some difficulties.
We continue our best Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds classes guide with the Swordsman, who fights hand-to-hand with his sword. He can reduce the defense of enemies to inflict more damage. He attacks at close range and boosts your playing partners, making him a particularly versatile character. He will be an excellent choice for both PVE and PVP.
You get Siphon Blade, the Swordsman's most powerful skill, directly in the game and can increase it in exchange for Domination Medals. The ability throws the enemy into the air and deals shadow damage, while reducing their defense to increase the team's.
We advise you to collect Guardian Sanctuary in exchange for Domination Medals to boost ATK, ATK speed and movement speed of the whole team.
However, if you want to unlock Arcane Barrier to reduce damage to your division and blind enemies, you will need to either farm Ardor or buy the skill in the game's store.
Also, some of the Swordsman's best passives are particularly hard to get without paying for them. This is especially true of Fortress, which increases your defense whenever an enemy attacks you. The same goes for Death Seal, which stuns the enemy at regular intervals when you use a normal attack and also increases ATK.
Defense Call is nevertheless recovered for free. This passive is likely to increase the division's DEF after a successful attack.
If you want to take full advantage of the Swordsman's power, you'll have to reach for your wallet at some point, unless you're very lucky with loot. But even without access to these skills, the Swordsman is still a solid and fun DPS to play.
Second to last in our Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds best classes guide, the Witch also fights hand-to-hand, but with a spear. She can boost her attacks with her spells and inflict serious damage on the battlefield. However, she has a lower resistance.
If we were to judge only the power of the Witch, we could easily put her at the top of this tier list of the best classes of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. Unfortunately, her best skills and passives are hard to come by. You won't be able to easily take advantage of her full potential unless you are very lucky with your loots or invest some money.
Crystal Wave, the Witch's most ferocious attack, is obtained with a low drop rate on Ardor or in the game's store. With it, you unleash a powerful ice storm capable of stunning enemies.
Similarly, Blink is one of the rarest loots in Al-Kemi's Cauldron of Good Fortune. This ability allows you to teleport and be immune to damage for 1.5 seconds after teleporting.
However, you will be able to recover Deady Spike more easily in exchange for 3,500 Domination Medals. This attack is ideal for starting combos.
The Witch's best passives will be just as hard to get: Armor Crash and Meikyon shisui are rare loots from Al-Kemi's Cauldron.
Armor Crash reduces the enemy's defense on a normal attack. Meikyon shisui increases the damage of your normal attacks and allows you to perform more critical hits.
Nevertheless, Rapid Stream is obtained simply by playing. The passive can increase the speed of ATK and DMG CRIT after a successful attack.
You got it: the Witch shines thanks to her DPS, but is unfortunately the least free-to-play friendly class of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds.
If you're not necessarily looking to unlock the best skills and only want to have fun with the witch, play solo and do big magic damage, it's still a good choice. It will be easy to pick up if you are a beginner player.
We finish our best Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds classes guide with the Zerstörer. The tank has a great strike force and can easily take out several enemies at once. Resistant, it can be boosted. On the other hand, his attacks are rather slow.
The Destroyer gameplay is centered around powerful hand-to-hand attacks. In a division, he will mostly play as a tank. However, we regret that War Cry can only be obtained on Ardor (with a rare loot rate) or in the store. However, this skill is essential to tank properly. It provokes enemies and stuns them.
Fortunately, you'll get Frost Shield (a powerful shield) early in the game and Graviton Power in exchange for Domination Medals.
As for the best passives to equip on the Destroyer, we recommend Oath of Revenge (increases defense, attack speed and movement speed when you take heavy damage), Counter Slow (when you take damage, you have a chance to reduce the attack and movement speed of your enemies) and Indomitable Soul (you heal temporarily when your hit points drop below 30%). The latter can be obtained in the game's store.
The Destroyer is a tough character, who faces the enemy directly with his hammer. With the right passives, the more hits he takes, the stronger he will be. But to play him well as a tank, you'll need to unlock skills like War Cry.
That's it for this Ni no Kuni cross worlds best classes tier list. In short, choose the Witch or Swordsman for hand-to-hand combat and maximum damage, the Rogue or Engineer for team play, boosting your allies and ranged attacks, and the Destroyer for tanking. And to play free-to-play, recruit the Engineer or the Rogue instead.
