Genshin Impact Dendroculus farm guide

Genshin Impact Dendroculus farm guide

Genshin Impact 3.0 update has unveiled a brand new area: Sumeru. This area is bound to be a great place to explore. In addition to the many chests and challenges, you can search for Dendroculus. But these items are not always easy to find and often well hidden or protected by mechanisms. In this guide we will help you to farm the Genshin Impact Dendroculus. We take the opportunity to give you some tips and tricks to make your search easier.

What is the purpose of Genshin Impact Dendroculus?

Genshin Impact Dendroculus are adventure items to collect in Sumeru, just like the Electroculus in Inazuma, the Anemoculus in Mondsdadt and the Geoculus in Liyue. Collecting them allows you to make offerings to the Statue of the Seven of Sumeru. Once you reach a certain number, you unlock a level.

These can offer Primogems Dendro Seals, Adventure EXP and Sumeru Shrine of Depths Key. There you can open chests containing 40 Primogems.

As a bonus, by reaching levels 3, 5 and 7, you will obtain Memories of Flourishing Green. This item allows you to climb the constellations of the Traveler Dendro.

Where to find Genshin Impact Dendroculus?

The Sumeru region has a total of 110 Dendroculus at the time of Genshin Impact 3.0 release. But this number should be even higher with the arrival of the desert part. In the meantime, that's a lot of spheres to collect. Some of them you can easily spot when you first enter Sumeru. On the other hand, others will require more effort.

When you approach a Genshin Impact Dendroculus, you will see a small star-shaped icon appear on your mini-map. It can be in the air, above you or even hidden by a mechanism. You can directly locate all Genshin Impact Dendroculus with the interactive Teyvat map. By clicking on a Dendroculus in the interactive map, you will be able to watch a short video to understand how to get it.

The Dendroculus in the northwest of Sumeru

You will find 14 Dendroculus in the northeast of Sumeru. Several of them are hiding in the Vanarana forest. To unlock the northern part of Sumeru in Genshin Impact, you will need to tackle the quests in the Aranyaka Saga world. In particular, it is with Part 2: Dream Nursery, that you will access the world of the Aranara.

How to locate Genshin Impact Dendroculus directly?

Have you been exploring Sumeru for many hours, yet you are still missing several Genshin Impact Dendroculus? Then make it easy for yourself by crafting Dendroculus Resonance Stones. This gadget locates Dendroculus near your position. After activating it, if a Dendroculus is in your area, a circle will appear on your map. Patrol the area, then as you get closer to the Dendroculus you are looking for, you will see it appear on your map.

Get the recipe for the Genshin Impact Dendroculus Resonance Stone

Before making them, you will need to get the Dendroculus Resonance Stones blueprint. You will get it after reaching level 8 reputation in Sumeru. After that, all you have to do is get the blueprint from Effendi in the city of Sumeru. However, each Resonance Stone is for one time use only. To make a new one, you will need 5 Nilotpala Lotus, 5 Rukkhashava Mushrooms and 1 piece of crystal.

During your exploration in Sumeru, you will find several mechanisms containing Dendroculus, we detail their operation in this guide.

Withering Zone

Genshin Impact Withering Zone

You must have already come across these areas plagued by corruption. To clean up Withering Zone, all you have to do is collect Dendrogranums, then launch charged attacks on the red branches. You will then have to defeat enemies and then destroy the dryness miasma. Once the area is back to normal, you can collect a Dendroculus by performing a Dendro skill on the roots that contain it.

The melodies of the ancient lyre

During the Aranyaka part 2: Dream Nursery quests, you will be able to unlock an ancient lyre and several melodies.

Play The Rhythm that Reveals the Beastly Trail to get a Genshin Impact Dendroculus

The Rhythm that Reveals the Beastly Trail makes obstacles (including green spheres) disappear when you play this melody with your lyre in front of a Claustroflora (purple flower). With The Rhythm that Leads to the Gloomy Path, you will open portals in the stones in the shape of a tree hollow. And The Rhythm of the Sprout, will allow you, as for it, to make appear Dendrogranums in the stumps of trees.

Bouncing mushrooms

Finally, a good number of Dendroculus are found high up. To go higher with the bouncing mushrooms, launch an Electro attack on them.
