After months of waiting, Sumeru is finally showing its face! You will finally be able to discover the 4th region of Teyvat in the Genshin Impact 3.0 update: The Morn A Thousand Roses Brings. The update will be available on Wednesday, August 24. You will be able to discover brand new characters, the Dendro element, new monsters and bosses, new events as well as the continuation of the story quest! In this article, we'll tell you more about what's in store for you in Genshin Impact 3.0 patch.
Check out the Genshin Impact 3.0 update trailer:
Genshin Impact 3.0 update introduces two new Dendro characters: Tighnari (a 5-star archer) and Collei (a 4-star archer). You'll also be able to summon Dori (a 4-star Electro heroine who fights with a catalyst). But in addition to these characters, you will also have 3 reruns: Zhongli, Kokomi and Ganyu. All these heroes will be divided into 4 separate Banners.
During the first part of Genshin Impact 3.0 update, you will be able to perform summons on two Banners: Tighnari or Zhongli. You will have a chance to get Collei on both banners.
Tighnari will be played primarily as a DPS or secondary DPS. He will be able to reduce the load time of his charged attacks with his elemental attack while creating a Dendro zone. His elemental unleash will also launch homing arrows. Thanks to one of his passives, he will show all of Sumeru's items on your mini map when he is present in your team, which is pretty handy for exploration.
As a bonus, Tighnari will get his own story quest. And if you can't summon him, you'll soon have another chance to get him: starting with the 3.1 update of Genshin Impact, he will be added to Standard Wish.
The second part of patch 3.0 offers two reruns : Ganyu and Kokomi. This will be an opportunity to unlock these powerful heroines if you don't have them yet. They will both be accompanied by Dori. The Electro heroine inflicts heavy damage with her magic lamp.
Genshin Impact 3.0 update invites you to explore a brand new region: Sumeru. You will be able to discover various landscapes ranging from a particularly dense forest to a barren desert. These places are inhabited by a wide range of monsters. You will face new bosses: the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and the Electro Regisvine.
In order to overcome them, you will be able to rely on 2 new artifacts. One will increase your Dendro damage while the other will focus on elemental mastery. Also, you will be able to create 5 new weapons at the blacksmith.
Finally, the Dendro element will shake up the way you play by offering new elemental reactions: Burning (Pyro and Dendro), Bloom (Hydro and Dendro) and Catalyse (Electro and Dendro).
Sumeru will of course have its own Archon quest, and it's going to be a big one! It will be spread out from update 3.0 to update 3.2 of Genshin Impact. It will be the occasion to discover Kusanali, the Archon Dendro.
In addition to Archon's quest, version 3.0 of Genshin Impact will earn you many Primogems through its events.
In Graven Innocence, with the help of Collei, you will explore Sumeru to find "inspiration" to make toys. To do so, you will have to take pictures, fight Sumeru's bosses and other enemies, and complete a course within a set time. In addition to Primogems and various rewards, you will unlock a free Collei by completing the tutorial.
Next, the Fayz Trials event offers you the chance to discover a trial team to fight dungeons. Here you can use special skills.
During the Tablet Analytics event, you will be able to create your own team (both with your characters and with test characters). You'll have to complete a series of 3 challenges.
The Lost Riches event marks the return of Ulman and his fairy. Together you will go in search of treasures. This will be an opportunity to collect many rewards as well as a new fairy of the color of your choice.
During the Ley Line Overflow event event, you will be able to double the rewards of the Blossom of Wealth and the Blossom of Revelation.
Genshin Impact 3.0 update offers several nice improvements. You will now be able to obtain all the RPG artifacts on the alchemy table, including those from 3.0. To do so, you will just have to sacrifice 3 more artifacts of your choice. So we advise you to get as many artifacts as possible before the 3.0 update release.
New gadgets will make it easier to collect wood, speed up fishing or increase your efficiency when preparing ingredients.
Finally, the delay between two Genshin Impact updates will now be 5 weeks instead of 6 (at least for the next 3 updates). We also know the next patches dates:
The content of the updates will not be reduced. However, the number of EXP points required to complete the Battle Pass tiers will be lowered to 900 instead of 1000.
You now know everything about Genshin Impact 3.0 update. All you have to do is wait until Wednesday, August 24, 2022. We'll be sure to write full guides for Tighnari, Collei, and Dori as soon as the characters are available! In the meantime, you can check out Zhongli's, Kokomi's and Ganyu 's guides to help you make your choice.
