Crystal of Atlan characters : full guide

Crystal of Atlan characters

Making the right choice among the Crystal of Atlan characters is essential. Class, specialisation, customisation, here I explain everything you need to know to choose a character that suits you. It's a must-read before you begin your adventure in the world of Atlan!

What are the Crystal of Atlan characters?

When we talk about the Crystal of Atlan characters, we're actually referring to the classes offered in the game. When you start a game, after the tutorial, you'll have to choose one of them: this will be your main character. In fact, I suggest you take a look at our tier list of Crystal of Atlan classes, to find out which are the best.

The choice of characters for Crystal of Atlan

There are 5 main classes in Crystal of Atlan:

  • The Puppeteer,
  • The Musketeer,
  • The Swordsman
  • The Magister,
  • The Fighter.

Each class has its own specialisations. For example, the Magister class has 3 sub-classes: the Warlock, the Elementalist and the Magician. From level 15 to level 45 (when you unlock your awakening spells), you can switch between subclasses before making a final choice from the Crystal of Atlan characters.

Crystal of Atlan character specialisations

After a while, you'll be able to gain slots to create new characters (and therefore several games). Here's how to delete a Crystal of Atlan character.

How do you choose your character in Crystal of Atlan?

When you start a game, you'll be taken to the tutorial where you can try out the different characters in Crystal of Atlan, i.e. the 5 main classes. This will give you an idea of the gameplay of each one. If you're more comfortable with hand-to-hand combat, then I'd recommend the Swordswoman, the Fighter or the Musketeer. On the other hand, players who prefer ranged combat will prefer the Magister or the Puppeteer.

Crystal of Atlan character gameplay descriptions

Please note: it is not possible to change classes in Crystal of Atlan. To do so, you'll need to unlock slots to create new characters.

Changing your characters' appearance

Character customisation in Crystal of Atlan is unlocked during the first chapter of your adventure, after you've unlocked access to your class's specialisations. It's a basic feature, but you'll still be able to choose your Crystal of Atlan characters's face and hair, as well as the colour of their clothes. You'll also be able to unlock skins as your adventure progresses (of course, you'll be able to buy them too!).
