The Clash of Critters Cozy Farm is a pinball event that lets you harvest fruit and feed the Tataris in exchange for coins. For every coin milestone you reach, you’ll receive pinball balls, sweets and Tataris Capsules. So, how does the Cozy Farm work? Let’s take a look.
How do the cycles in Clash of Critters Cozy Farm work?
The Clash of Critters Cozy Farm is an event accessible from the pinball machine. It lasts three days and is divided into 12-hour cycles:
Day
Cycle 1
Cycle 2
1
Planting/Harvesting
Planting/Harvesting
2
Planting/Harvesting
Planting/Harvesting
3
Planting/Harvesting
Harvest (no planting possible)
Please note: in reality, there are only 5 growth cycles; the final cycle on the 3rd day does not allow you to fertilise your crops. In Clash of Critters Cozy Farm, you can grow bananas, dragon fruit, bamboo shoots, berries or carrots.
In Clash of Critters Cozy Farm, you’ll need to feed other players’ Tataris. This will earn you coins. Some players believe that rare fruits will earn you more coins, but is that really the case? Let’s find out.
The myth of rarity
In reality, the rarity of the fruit has no bearing on the number of coins it will earn you. What actually allows you to collect more coins is the weight of the fruit. The heavier it is, the more profitable it will be. And to make your fruit grow bigger, there’s no secret: you’ll need to fertilise them.
The "All-In": a bad idea!
Please note: the yield from fertiliser in the Clash of Critters Cozy Farm follows a diminishing return pattern. In other words, there’s no need to fertilise a fruit multiple times to double or triple its weight.
⚡ Mobi.gg tip: Work out the total amount of fertiliser you’ve earned through the event and divide it by 5 to spread it evenly across each planting cycle.
Feeding the Tatari: Maximising Coins in Clash of Critters Cozy Farm
We now come to the most important part of this Clash of Critters Cozy Farm guide. Once you’ve harvested the fruit from your farm, you’ll need to give it to other players’ Tataris. Here again, you’ll need to be strategic: the more powerful a Tataris is, the more coins it will give you.
Choose the right friends (The “Whale” strategy)
Mobi.gg advises you to choose carefully which friends’ farms you’ll feed the Tataris at. The most advanced players will always be the most profitable, as they have the most powerful Tataris. So take the time to choose the farm you’re going to visit wisely!
Limits and Reservations
In the Clash of Critters Cozy Farm, a Tataris can only be fed twice. And if other players have already fed them, they will no longer be available.
However, you can reserve a spot to feed the Tataris. This will allow you to secure your place on a ‘big’ player’s farm.
Evolutions linked to the Cozy Farm
Some Tataris require the Clash of Critters Cozy Farm event for evolution. This is particularly the case for Surgehoof, who must take part in the Cozy Farm or the Treasure Hunt. In fact, we’ve put together a guide to the Clash of Critters evolution of the Tataris!
Watering with friends: a handy little bonus
Good to know: you can water other players’ crops to add 2kg to each new crop. Conversely, other players can come and water your crops. But be careful: you can only water your friends’ crops once. So remember to take turns!
To finish this guide to the Clash of Critters Cozy Farm, don’t forget to spread your fertiliser evenly across the 5 growth cycles. Also remember to feed the most powerful Tataris to maximise your earnings. Every coin milestone you reach lets you collect even more rewards, so don’t miss out on this event!
