The hardest floor in episode 2 of Beast-Yeast is not 2-30 but 2-28! This is a first in the exploration of the world. In this guide, we'll look at how to beat 2-28 in Cookie Run Kingdom in Story, Normal and Hard modes. We'll also look at the strategy you need to adopt to defeat the boss easily.
To beat the 2-28 Cookie Run Kingdom in Beast-Yeast, you'll need a good team, especially for the Normal and Difficult modes. It won't be possible to do it on full auto because you'll need to use The Guardian's Protection spell. To avoid taking too much damage from the boss (Shadow Milk Cookie's Nasty Surprise), you need to use the spell every time the Paper Storm gauge is filled.
Like Beast-Yeast Episode 1, the bonus effects of toppings are not applied. Only the effect of the Sets will be taken into account.
Here's the team I used for the 2-28 Cookie Run Kingdom in Story and Normal mode in Beast-Yeast. For Normal mode, I'd advise you to have your cookies at least level 75 as well as sweets when applicable and Beascuits at least level 10. Spells don't need to be at max level, but it's highly recommended. For example, during my Normal mode run, Crème Brûlée Cookie and Financier Cookie only had their spells at around level 60.
Cookie Team | Toppings | Alternatives |
---|---|---|
Financier Cookie | Almond Set | Cookie Tank : |
Pure Vanilla Cookie | Almond Set | Heal/Support : |
Raspberry Set | Can be replaced by a 4th support and put Crème Brûlée as the only DPS | |
Snapdragon Cookie | Swift Chocolate Set | Heal/Support : |
Crème Brûlée Cookie | Raspberry Set or Almond Set | - |
For treasures to be used with the compo in CRK's 2-28, we're sticking to the standard with :
Squishy Jelly Watch (cd reduction): level 12 recommended
Disciple's Magic Scroll (ATQ% and DEF%): level 12 recommended
Gatekeeper Ghost's Horn (DEF%): Level 12 recommended
The Squishy Jelly Watch treasure can be replaced by its epic equivalent if it is high enough level (8+), as can the Disciple's Magic Scroll.
If you have high enough treasures and depending on the level of your characters, you can also use :
Squishy Jelly Watch (cd reduction), level 12 recommended
Dream Conductor's Whistle (CRIT%, RES DMG Resist%, ATQ%): recommended level 8+.
Librarian's Enchanted Robes: level 8+ recommended
Just like the difference between Story mode and Normal mode, the Hard mode in 2-28 Cookie Run Kingdom is even more complex! You'll need to have most of your cookies transcended in order to defeat the boss. Here's the recommended team.
Financier Cookie (Swift Chocolate Set)
Icicle Yeti Cookie (Swift Chocolate Set)
Fettuccine Cookie (Swift Chocolate Set)
Rockstar Cookie or Pomegranate Cookie (Swift Chocolate Set)
Crème Brûlée Cookie (Raspberry Set)
For the treasures in Beast-Yeast 2-28 in Hard mode, you need to use :
Squishy Jelly Watch (cd reduction): level 12 recommended
Dream Conductor's Whistle (CRIT%, RES DMG Resist%, ATQ%): recommended level 12
Librarian's Enchanted Robes: level 12 recommended
And that's it, this guide to beat Beast-Yeast 2-28 in Cookie Run Kingdom is finished! I hope it's unlocked you, and that you'll win lots of legendary Beascuits!
