If, like me, you spend far too much time on Twitch, you probably haven't missed Where Winds Meet, NetEase 's latest PC release from last month. Good news: the Where Winds Meet mobile release date has been announced, and the game will be arriving on your smartphones sooner rather than later.
For fans of the Wuxia universe, Father Christmas is coming early this year, as the Where Winds Meet mobile release date has been announced for 12 December. That's a few days earlier than expected, because until now the App Store had set the release date for 31 December.
If you missed the news, let me summarise: Where Winds Meets is a single-player action-adventure RPG from NetEase, which lets you explore the Chinese period of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms between 907 and 979. The hero you play will follow his own spiritual quest in search of his identity. There's nothing unbelievable about it: the storyline is pretty standard, despite a rather rich and interesting historical lore.

The game has already been released on PC and console, and for its Android and iOS version, NetEase has unveiled an interface specially adapted for smartphones and tablets, as well as cross-platform and cross-play.
Where Winds Meet was released on Steam and consoles on 14 November, and to say the least, reviews have been pretty positive. The top-notch graphics and the vast, well-constructed open world are among the game's major strengths.

The same goes for the combat system, which is both complex and highly satisfying: the controls are precise, the enemies won't let you down, and the gameplay offers you plenty of ways to get the better of them. For once, the game doesn't let us down, and that's something to be proud of!
We really hope that these qualities will also be present on Android and iOS, and we remind you that the Where Winds Meet mobile release date is scheduled for 12 December 2025! As with PC, the game will be free to play on smartphones.
