Waven, the RPG from the creators of Dofus, is now available in early access on mobile!

Did you love Dofus Touch? We recommend you try Waven, Ankama's new turn-based tactical RPG made in France! Almost a year after its release on PC and a soft launch period on mobile, Waven is finally available everywhere in early access on Android and iOS. And given what it has to offer, we can only encourage you to get your hands on it!

As a reminder, Waven was released on PC and Mac on 16 August 2023 via Steam and the Ankama Launcher . Until today, its mobile version was only available as a soft launch in a few regions. Now it's official: Waven is coming to smartphones worldwide, both Android and iOS. And to top it all off, it's free-to-play!

In Waven, you take on the role of an adventurer of the seas, determined to discover the mysteries of the world around him, where only a few islands have survived the great upheaval. In this magical world, you'll have to search for mythological creatures that have strangely disappeared.

Waven is much more than a simple RPG, with its colourful AD and cartoonish graphics. With this new title, Ankama is offering a turn-based strategy game featuring a deck-building system. Before launching into battle, you'll need to build the best deck possible, and the least we can say is that the possibilities are endless!

Between character types, items to equip, spells, companions and weapons, the combinations in Waven are almost limitless, allowing you to try out different styles of play and set up numerous subterfuges to win the battle. Ranged or hand-to-hand, the choice is yours!

Test Waven solo or with friends, in PvP or PvE!

From today, you can try out Waven solo or in co-op, by inviting your friends to share your adventure. But that's not all, as a range of PvP and PvE game modes are also available.

You can challenge other players to evolve your character and reach the top of the leaderboard, fight monsters in PvE to collect as many resources as possible, or play against other players. Set up a defence system for your island to protect it from invasion when you're not playing.

The arrival of Waven on Android and iOS marks the start of cross-platform play

With the global arrival of early access to Waven on Android and iOS mobiles and tablets, Ankama wants to offer cross-platform to all players, as well as cross-save. From now on, by logging in via your Ankama account, you'll be able to resume your progress on any device!

There's no official launch date yet for version 1.0 of Waven, but with Waven's global early access, you'll be able to get an idea of what Ankama's tactical RPG has to offer. New features and content are still expected before 1.0, so we'll be sure to keep you posted on future updates.
