Check out the Verizon Wild Rift Invitational

League of Legends: Wild Rift has not yet been officially released. European players will even have to wait until December to finally get their hands on the mobile version of the famous MOBA. In the meantime, Riot Games has a little surprise in store for us. In partnership with Twitch and the telecommunication company Verizon, the Verizon Wild Rift Invitational is being organised with several show matches. However, you will have to stay up late... or get up very early! Europeans are once again left out, as for us, the competition will take place on 23 October from 3:30 to 5:30 in the morning.

The Verizon Wild Rift Invitational will feature10 prestigiousguests. They include personalities from theesport and gaming industries, as well as a few distinguished guests from outside thevideo game industry. Watching will never be worth a testBut it's an opportunity to discover Wild Rift (still available for pre-registration) for those who haven't followed the beta phases too much.

An event labelled Twitch Rivals

The Verizon Wild Rift Invitational is labeled Twitch Rivals. The famous online broadcasting platform regularly organises friendly competitions on different games: League of Legends, Valorant, Call of Duty, etc. These competitions have one thing in common. Apart from being very lucrative for its participants, they invite well-known influencers or personalities . The aim is not generally to offer a stratospheric level of play, but to gather a maximum number of viewers. This is not far from the Opé-Spé. The Verizon Wild Rift Invitational will be played on the new iPhone 12 and Verizon's 5G network, hence the name of the tournament.

Verizon Wild Rift Invitational guest list

10 guests will play this friendly competition. As there is no guarantee on the level of the players, the atmosphere should remain friendly. But the presence of several professional players (LoL and Fortnite) could still bring a little dose of tryhard and salt.

• EMUHLEET : Streamer and part-time nurse.

There will be 3 games played in 5v5. As the teams will be determined by viewer voting on Twitchsome may be tempted to stay awake.
