Back in June, we told you about the upcoming ARPG Tribe Nine on Android and iOS. If you've been looking forward to it, we've got some good news for you: pre-registration for Tribe Nine is now open! Akatsuki Games and Too Kyo Games, the studio of the creator of Danganronpa, have a fast-paced game in store for you, combining exploration of Neo Tokyo with intense combat!
With Tribe Nine pre-registrations open, get ready to unleash Neo Tokyo
Tribe Nine, which will be available on Android, iOS and PC via Steam, plunges you into a futuristic Tokyo called Neo Tokyo. The city is under the control of Zero, the big bad of the story, whom you'll have to fight using techniques inspired by Extreme Baseball (XB), just like in the anime and manga.
Form a team of 3 characters from the 10 available and engage in intense 3D combat, using a 'Tension' system to trigger each hero's ultimate. What's more, you'll be able to design your own build, modifying your characters' stats or equipping them with specific items.
The announcement of Tribe Nine's pre-registration promises a rather nervous gameplay, but exploration also seems to be at the heart of the game.
Tribe Nine, a mix of 2D and 3D combat and exploration
Tribe Nine could well stand out from the crowd thanks to its 3D combat, alternating with 2D pixel art exploration. You'll have to explore the various districts of Neo Tokyo (more than twenty), which are inspired by the existing districts of the Japanese capital.
Aside from combat, the exploration will bring you across mini-games and puzzles to solve, as well as NPCs who will give you side quests. You may also come across bloodstains left by other players, indicating potential dangers on the map or the presence of rival gangs.
Don't miss out on pre-registration for Tribe Nine, a game you'll be able to play on Android and iOS in solo or co-op mode (for the moment, we don't have any more information on this subject). No release date has been announced yet, but we'll keep you posted at Mobi.gg! And if you like manga-inspired games, we recommend our top anime mobile games.
