As the Dragonlands 7 set champions and types are released, Riot Games announces the new season of TFT Rising Legends, the esport championship of its auto-battler. Let's take a look at how the qualifiers for the finals of the competition will work.
In this season of TFT Rising Legends Dragonlands, participants will compete from June to October. As the rounds progress, some players will be able to advance to the final and compete for the $50, 000 cash prize and a place in the TFT Dragonlands Championship. To qualify, players will have several options: the Golden Spatula Cups, their overall ranking and the Superbrawl.
Firstly, 3 Golden Spatula Cups will take place in July, August and September respectively. These are the major Dragonlands competitions organised by Riot Games, which are accessible via open qualifiers.
The winner of each of these Dragonlands tournaments will automatically qualify for the TFT Rising Legends final. But that's not all, as the 14 players who score the most points in these three tournaments will also qualify for the final.
In addition to the Golden Spatula Cups, 8 regional tournaments will also be part of the TFT Rising Legends esport circuit:
For each of these competitions, 3 players will advance to the Superbrawl, where the top 3 will qualify for the European Finals.
Finally, the top 12 players on the European servers at the set date will also qualify: 6 for Western Europe and 2 for Northern Europe, Russia and Turkey.
A total of 32 players will participate in the TFT Rising Legends finals. At the end of these 3 days of competition, we will finally have the name of the 4 players who will represent Europe at the TFT Dragonlands Championship, the Teamfight Tactics World Cup.
To celebrate the start of the season, Riot is hosting the Dragon Party! on 11 June 2022. This showmatch, which will be broadcast on TFT's Twitch channel, will bring together European and American players who will compete for the first time on set 7.
