After a patch 12.20 focused on adjusting many champions, the TFT patch 12.21 is relatively light. On the agenda: a single change to traits, a few changes to champions and Augments, as well as buffs and nerfs to Radiant item variants.
One and only change concerning the traits in this TFT patch 12.21. It concerns the Cannoneers damages, which is increased at levels 4 and 6 from 150/275/450% to 150/300/500%. Other than that, no other traits are changed in this update, which comes three weeks before the TFT Dragonlands Championship.
This patch 12.21 doesn't bring many changes for the champions either. We note however the spells damage buffs of Lux, Xayah and Nunu, as well as the nerf of Karma's.
Champions | TFT patch 12.21 champion buffs |
---|---|
Lux | The primary damage of his spell increases from 325/400/500 to 325/410/525 and the secondary damage from 175/200/230 to 175/210/240. |
Nomsy | The number of targets for the Lulu spell is increased from 2 to 3. |
Nunu | The damage of his spell increases from 350/500/925 to 375/525/925 and the amplification threshold increases from 40% to 50%. |
Xayah | The damage bonus of his spell increases from 18% to 20/20/30%. |
Champions | TFT patch 12.21 champions nerfs |
---|---|
Karma | The damage of his spell decreases from 210/280/400 to 200/265/380. |
On the Augments TFT side, the three levels of Built Different are improved in this update, while Preparation and Cluttered Mind have their impact reduced.
Augments | TFT patch 12.21 Augments buffs |
---|---|
Built Different I | The VP bonus increases from 200/350 to 250/400. |
Built Different II | The VP bonus increases from 250/475 to 300/525. |
Built Different III | The VP bonus increases from 300/600 to 350/650. |
Protector of the cosmos | The shield increases from 30 to 35. |
Augments | TFT patch 12.21 Augments nerfs |
---|---|
Cluttered mind | The augment now offers 2 units instead of 3. |
Preparation | Damage and power bonuses are reduced from 4/5/8 to 3/4/7. |
Finally, it is the items that are most affected by the patch 12.21 changes. Specifically, it's the Randiant item versions that suffer from buffs and nerfs.
Items | TFT patch 12.21 item buffs |
---|---|
Bramble Vest (Radiant) | The item now blocks all critical strike bonuses instead of 75%. |
Last Whisper (Radiant) | The attack speed bonus is increased from 25% to 35%. |
Quicksilver (Radiant) | The attack speed bonus increases from 50% to 60%. |
Statikk Shiv (Radiant) | The attack speed bonus is increased from 10% to 30%. |
Redemption (Radiant) | Bonus VPs increase from 18% to 22% of max VPs. |
Items | TFT patch 12.21 item nerfs |
---|---|
Protector's Vow (Radiant) | Magic resistance and armor decrease from 35 to 30 and the shield duration decreases from 4 to 3 seconds. |
Runaan's Hurricane (Radiant) | Projectile damage is reduced from 120% to 110%. |
Sunfire Cape (Radiant) | The VP bonus is reduced from 300 to 200. |
That's it for the TFT patch 12.21 changes. Unlike the previous patch, this one is quite light. It remains to be seen in-game if this means that the meta is finally starting to stabilize as we approach the TFT Dragonlands Championship, November 18-20, 2022.
