Cyberpunk 2077 was released about ten days ago and the game is already famous, but not necessarily for the right reasons. The console versions don't live up to expectations and there are many flaws. However, these problems are not on the same level as theCyberpunk mobile scam! A malicious site has created a fake application of the same name. It goes so far as to ape the Play Store homepage. So be very careful! As well as being disappointed that you can't access the game, this site will install malware on your device.
If you want some good advice at the end of the year: stay away from Cyberpunk. On consoles, wait for the bugs to be worked out and on phones, avoid theCyberpunk mobile scam!
It's not uncommon to see this type of scam in the video game world. Many games are cross-platform or ported to different media (console, PC, mobile...). Lawless desparados then take advantage of the opportunity to create fake applications. And it is often mobile gamers who are the target of these. We already had an example with a fake Fall Guys, entitled "Fall Gang: Knockout".
There are several reasons for this focus. The sale of mobile games is a little less controlled. There are no physical sales and you can quickly get lost in the Play Store. Moreover, on mobile, players are used to and often look for free-to-play games. They are therefore generally more inclined to fall for scams. But let's remind you one last time: beware of theCyperpunk mobile scam!

It is never good to rejoice in the misfortune of others. But when it comes to malicious scammers, we can make one tiny exception. Due to the setbacks of the console versions of Cyberpunk (game removed from the Playstation shop), the authors of theCyberpunk mobile scam have surely had less success than expected. That's little consolation for the community. But considering the game's huge flop, it's better to try to laugh about it than to cry about it.
