Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival

Take Vampire Survivors, mix it with Dome Keeper, add underwater creatures and you get Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival, the roguelite from developers RetroStyle Games. A port of Codename: Ocean Keeper, the game is available on Android and iOS and lets you explore the mysteries of the deep sea aboard your robot and survive hordes of tentacled monsters.
The roguelite Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival puts you in the role of a miner whose ship has crashed into an underwater world containing the remains of a lost civilisation. If you have thalassophobia, beware!
To survive each mission, you'll need to find the mines inside procedurally-generated dungeons, collecting artefacts and resources to upgrade your robot ship's features, weapons and equipment. These upgrades will help you survive the hordes of underwater creatures that attack you.

After each mission, you'll receive a certain amount of meta-currency, which you can use to customise your robot to suit your style of play.
Ocean Keeper will put your strategic mind to the test, to say the least, as each mission is timed! You'll need to be efficient enough to find the mine, exploit its resources and upgrade your equipment before the creatures arrive.

Ocean Keeper offers a true survival experience, combining elements of roguelite and shooter with alternating isometric and 2D views, where it's all a question of balance between harvesting and combat ! Each mission is full of surprises, with new artefacts and secrets to discover. The game offers excellent replayability, as each run is unique, but also represents one hell of a challenge!

Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival is the (very successful) mobile port of Codename: Ocean Keeper on PC. The game is free on Android and costs $5.99 on iOS for an ad-free experience. I recommend this title from RetroStyle Games if, like me, you have a soft spot for roguelites.
