FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle
Written by
This news is sure to please the Otaku on the Mobi.gg commu: it's the release of FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle, a new game based on the manga and anime licence. Hadn't you heard of it? I have to say I hadn't either. It's a gacha idle RPG with a brand new storyline set in the Kingdom of Fiore. So, is it a really good game or a greedy gacha?
With the release of FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle, you'll be treated to a brand new story arc, that of Natsu and his quest for Igneel, in the same universe as the anime.
The game is an idle RPG with little in the way of originality. In that respect, don't expect a revolution. Overall, there's enough content to keep you busy for a while.

And since it's also a gacha, you'll be collecting iconic characters from the licence like Lucy Heartfilia, Happy, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet and all the others, and putting together your teams. In total, there will be 80 playable characters when FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle is released, but all in the Chibi version (sorry for those who are allergic to Chibi, I know there are a lot of you out there).
As you'd expect, like many games in this genre, the business model for the release of FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle won't be in favour of free-to-play players. Despite the 720 draws offered at the start of the adventure, these cannot be used for the limited banner. Needless to say, the permanent banner only offers mid-level characters. And if you want to invest in the 5 multiplayers, you'll have to shell out... $100.

I'll let you make up your own mind and try out the game if you're a fan of the licence, but don't bother if you're not particularly attached to Fairy Tail. You'll find much better idle games on the stores, such as AFK Journey, or Go Go Muffin for an MMORPG experience.
