It's the surprise no one was expecting: the announcement of Reigns: The Witcher by Devolver Digital and Nerial. In this crossover between Reigns and CD Projekt's ultra-famous licence, play as Jaskier, the bard who will decide the fate of Geralt de Riv. The game is scheduled for release in February 2026!
For those unfamiliar with the licence, Reigns is a game of reflection and strategy, where you have to make crucial choices for the protagonist's survival. And in the game, the choices are represented by cards, which you swipe left or right, depending on the decisions you wish to make. A gameplay perfectly suited to the dilemmas faced by our good Geralt, hero of the book series, CD Projekt Red games and the Netflix series The Witcher.

This isn't the first time that Reigns has offered a crossover with another franchise. In 2018, we were already able to try out Reigns: Game of Thrones. And we're really pleased to see the return of Nerial's game, which we've ranked in our top mobile games of all time. The editors are delighted to see that the big licences are investing in quality narrative experiences!
In the trailer unveiled last night, we understand that it's Jaskier, the bard, who will have Geralt's fate in his hands. A host of protagonists will be present: Yennefer, Triss, Vesemir and, of course, Ablette! And since Jaskier is at the helm, the various choices on offer will be in verse!

Respond to the requests of the inhabitants, solve puzzles and embark on epic adventures with the series' colourful characters, all the while making tough moral decisions. But you'll also have to try and survive...
Reigns: The Witcher is coming soon! Devolver Digital and Nerial have announced that it will hit stores on 25 February 2026! The game will be available on Android, iOS and Steam.
Reigns: The Witcher costs less than $6. And if you ask me, that's a small price to pay to enjoy a game of this quality!
