The hit series Game of Thrones, GoT for those in the know, is to have a new mobile game adaptation. Popularised by HBO, George R. R. Martin's work has indeed unleashed passions and captivated crowds. While some were disappointed with the series' ending, there is no shortage of fans. Several game studios have surfed on the wave to offer derivative video games. Whether on mobile, with Game of Thrones Conquest (Warner Bros), or on PC with Telltale Games' GoT , gamers have been spoilt for choice.
Devolver Digital, which is currently making headlines with Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, is also making its GoT mobile game. But what can we expect from Game Of Thrones: Tale Of Crows?

This mobile adaptation of GoT will not be for everyone, for the moment anyway. Devolver Digital is an independent studio that doesn't have the biggest resources on the market. This is one of the reasons why the game will only be available on iOS for Apple users.

The other reason is that Apple must have sniffed out a good deal. The game is available via the monthly Apple Arcade subscription. The company has revised its strategy and its catalogue of ad-free games, offered at 4.99 euros per month. With a mixed success for the moment, Apple wants to bet on new counters and Game Of Thrones: Tale Of Crows has the head for the job. It fulfils the new criteria for mobile games(dynamism and lifespan) in addition to having a real identity.
However, the game will not take place during the events of the series and will be far away from King's Landing. This GoT mobile game has decided to focus on the Far North, surely the most popular region of the series, as it is the home of the Stark family.
Hundreds of years before John Snow, Daenerys Targaryen or Cersei Lannister, you must manage the Night's Watch and protect the Wall. You will also have the chance to explore the territory of the Wildlings, but with the risk of encountering far more dangerous enemies... In tricky situations, you will have to make choices, hopefully the right ones.
