The game NieR Reincarnation is open for pre-registration in Japan on both iOS and Android. The development studio revealed in a stream that it has set pre-registration goals to encourage players to show their desire to play the game, even before its release. Depending on the number of pre-registrations, players will unlock rewards in the game. The first milestone is set at 500,000 users. These users will then receive 3,000 gems that can be used to make microtransactions in NieR Reincarnation.
