Are you dreaming of exploring the upside down of Stranger Things, embarking with Luffy aboard the Going Merry or joining Mercredi Adams' Nevermore high school? Well, I've got good news for you: since 9 May 2024 it's all been possible, thanks to the collaboration between Netflix and Roblox! The streaming giant and the No. 1 platform in the multiverse have created Nextworld, a virtual theme park where you can explore the universe of your favourite series. Fancy it? Let's get started!
Following its collaboration with IKEA, Roblox is working with Netflix to offer a real virtual theme park. The concept is simple: from the Nextworld hub, you can access different games, each based on one of the flagship series in the streaming giant's catalogue.

Nextworld has been available since 9 May on mobile, PC and Mac in early access, and for the time being you can explore the world of 3 major Netflix hits through three different games: Stranger Things: Escape from Hawkins High (the best series if you ask me), Rebel Moon: Outskirts Battle and One Piece: East Blue Brawls, inspired by live action. And there's more to come!

Obviously, these games are packed with easter eggs, collectible items and skins , limited UCGs, and feature the main characters from the three Netflix series.
Each player will be able to create and decorate their own personal hub, the Fan Pod, to which they may or may not grant access to other players. Who hasn't dreamt of having a cuddly Demogorgon or Luffy's flag in their geek room on Roblox?

There are plenty of events planned for Nextworld, the latest of which took place on 17 May and had a Jurassic World theme (have you created raptors... in Roblox?). There's even a common space for all players, the Streamship, where you can watch Netflix content and take advantage of certain social features.

This isn't the first time the two giants have collaborated. Netflix has already called on Roblox to promote new content, including Sonic Prime and Stranger Things. For the moment, we don't know when Nextworld will be released in early access and launch version 1.0 of Nextworld. In the meantime, we really suggest you give it a try!
