The new Seven Deadly Sins release date is finally official!

Fans were expecting it at the end of the month, but we'll have to wait a few more weeks. As we told you at the beginning of the year, 7DS Origin was due for release on 28 February 2026. In the meantime, Netmarble has announced the postponement of its open world. Rest assured: the publisher has just announced the new Seven Deadly Sins release date. The next Genshin Impact-like game is coming in March!

After 7DS Origin's postponement, its global release date has finally been confirmed

The postponement of Seven Deadly Sins Origin was not accompanied by any explanation from Netmarble, even though the game has been in development since 2022. Moreover, this is not the first postponement of the game, which was initially announced for the end of 2025 .

Is this a bad sign for Netmarble's next big-budget game? We'll soon find out, as the new Seven Deadly Sins release date is settled on Android and iOS on 23 March 2026. PC and PS gamers will get a head start, as the game will be available on 16 March.

Seven Deadly Sins Origin: the most eagerly awaited mobile action RPG of 2026?

To put the new Seven Deadly Sins release date in context, the 7DS licence is nearing the end of its run. The manga and its anime are finished. And its sequel, Four Knights of Apocalpyse, is not as successful as its predecessor. So we wonder whether Seven Deadly Sins Origin will meet with the hype that Netmarble is expecting!

In the meantime, this very ambitious project seems to have some great things in store for us, and feedback from previous beta releases has been pretty good, with a mix of RPG and co-op raid, MMORPG style. In the meantime, I'm still very curious to get my hands on what remains one of the most eagerly awaited games of 2026.
