Com2uS would be following in the footsteps of Riot Games for the 2020 SWC?

Com2uS has just released a new trailer concerning the new phases of the SWC that will take place in a short time. Let's take a closer look at this trailer which seems to be somewhat inspired by Riot Games productions.

A trailer at Riot Games for Summoners War?

This morning, Com2uS has unveiled a trailer for to announce the new phases of the SWC. This trailer is very similar to the trailers and mini-films proposed by Riot Games for its game League of Legends which, let's remember, is one of the biggest video game success in the world.

The new Summoners War trailer for SWC 2020

As you can see in this trailer, the animation, the direction and most intriguingly, the music, give a sense of "déjà vu". This video seems to be quite similar to what we are used to seeing Riot GamesThis video seems to be quite similar to what we are used to, especially when it comes to introducing new champions.

The universe of the Summoners War characters and the League of Legends champions is quite similar and Com2uS seems to take the same path as Riot Games to present its content.

Towards a collaboration between the two studios?

One has to wonder if, following the collaboration between Street Fighters and Summoners War, a future collaboration between the two studios is on the horizon. As Com2uS continues to expand and gain worldwide recognition, SW is becoming a must-have game for all generations.

Imagine having a Lushen in League of Legends, or a Blitzcrank in Summoners War (which, by the way, looks like the boss of the Chiruka ruins). It would be a huge PR coup for both studios!

In addition, Com2uS continues to develop by bringing extensions to its flagship game Summoners War. With, notably, the release of a comic book or a new mmorpg. For its part, Riot Games is also offering more and more content on mobile with TFT mobileLegends of Runeterra and soon LoL: Wild Rift!

We'll have to keep a close eye on this, as the turn Com2uS is taking with Summoners War suggests that a collaboration with Riot Games could be possible in the near future. This would not necessarily be bad as the two games are similar in some aspects!
