Mobile news recap August 2021

Check out the weekly recap of mobile gaming news on Android and iOS for the week of July 26 to August 1, 2021! We'll let you find out all about it. ⬇️

1️⃣ Genshin Impact continues to make crossovers. Earlier this month, we told you about the partnership between Genshin and Honkai Impact 3rd, and this time it's Sony's turn to get in on the action by allowing MiHoYo to add Aloy to its flagship game. The red-haired huntress from Horizon Zero Dawn will join Genshin Impact 's 5-star characters in 1.1 for all platforms, except mobile, which will have to wait until 2.2 to discover her. We tell you more aboutAloy 's arrivalin Genshin Impact in the article dedicated to this subject.

2️⃣ On a completely different note, the popular puzzle and platform game Human Fall Flat (which was such a hit with streamers and youtubers) is celebrating its 5th birthday. On the occasion of the title's 5th anniversary, you will be able to discover Human Fall Flat's level 18, the Laboratory. As a reminder, this level was created by a passionate member of the community, for the community. So go and discover it on mobile.

3️⃣ Released in China in 2019 and stuck in that part of Asia ever since, the mobile game Street Fighter Duel is getting a global release. Capcom's growing success in China coupled with the power of Tencent promises one hell of a distribution in the rest of the world. No region will escape: Asia, Oceania, Africa, the US and Europe are all on the agenda! Fans of the licence, get ready.

4️⃣ Let's get some cuteness back after this fighting game news. And for that, what better than a little news Pokémon. This week, Blastoise and Gardevoir appear in Pokémon Unite. The absence of Blastoise was relatively unpopular with the community, but the new update will soon correct this problem. Gardevoir and Blastoise have been added to the 20 initial Pokémon such as Charizard, Snorlax or Pikachu (you didn't see that one coming, did you) in order to progressively enrich the game experience. Even if the title has not yet been released on mobile, it is only a matter of weeks since Pokémon Unite is scheduled to be released on mobile in September. By the way, for those of you who are curious and impatient, we have already published a list of all Pokémon of Pokémon Unite for you to check out.

5️⃣ This Thursday was also an opportunity for us to remind you of the immediate release of Nier Re[in]carnation on mobile. Despite the early maintenance of the game (as with Contra Returns, by the way), it has been well and truly available on Playstore and App Store for a few days. No need to worry about the credit card, Nier Re[in]carnation is a free-to-play RPG, so check it out if you have some free time.

6️⃣ Supercell's new game Clash Heroes is being revealed through its pre-alpha leaks on the networks. Skins, gameplay, visuals, spells: everything is there. Go to the article to learn more and sign up for the official information and pre-registration channels for the game.

7️⃣ If your Pokémon GO account got banned for no reason... Well here may be the reason. The cheat detection system at Niantic seems to have banned a whole wave of accounts by mistake/for a reason not disclosed by the studio. This sudden rise in bans is not due to VPNs, hacks or any form of cheat Pokémon GO. So removing your ban Pokémon GO in 2021 is possible! Well, especially for those who have done nothing wrong. 😇 Be patient, the problem should be fixed soon.

Be sure to check out the latest mobile game releases to see what's new! See you next week for fresh news on your favourite mobile games. 😃
