Older players may remember the mobile game Jetpack Joyride. With its potentially infinite lifespan, everyone was rushing around in long sessions trying to get the best score by surviving as long as possible. However, the success didn't last forever and the game gradually fell into disuse, like its compatriots of the Fruit Ninja or Temple Run era. Except that the story is not completely over, because Jetpack Joyride 2 is in the works.
Nostalgic gamers are bound to be tempted by the adventure and game studio Halfbrick Studios has a real card to play for the 10th anniversary of the first opus.
Jetpack Joyride 2 retains most of the gameplay and graphics of the original version. It will be a pleasure to see Barry Steakfries and his jetpack again. As usual, he will try to avoid as many obstacles as possible.
However, there will be one very big change with the new game. Barry comes with weapons and will have a choice of multiple guns. These will help him progress and destroy enemies as well as natural elements in the scenery. There will even be boss battles and flamethrowers, laser guns, heavy artillery, vehicle weapons and more. All this will not be enough to defeat your enemies.

Unfortunately for us, France is not one of the areas selected to host the soft-launch... To get your hands on the game you will have to live in Australia, New Zealand or Canada.
Halfbrick Studios will have the opportunity with this first wave of testing to gather the first feedback from the community. The game studio will be able to fix the various bugs, but also measure the hype around Jetpack Joyride 2.
