Square Enix took the opportunity of its Square Enix Presents to introduce Hitman Sniper Assassins. This mobile game project is still very mysterious to this day. But by building on the successful Hitman licence, the game studio is not taking many risks. We're willing to bet that the game will find takers!
We're not sure yet if the tentative name Hitman Sniper Assassins will be retained until the game is officially released. To be honest, we don't know much about this new title. The teaser shows a series of close-up shots that reveal very few details. So we'll have to be patient to see more: to be continued.
In the teaser, the iconic Agent 47 is not clearly visible. Some believe that he will be absent from the game and that we will have the opportunity to discover other members of the ICA (International Contract Agency). In the video presentation, we can see two faceless snipers: a woman and a tattooed man. It is impossible to draw any definite conclusions at this stage.
An important detail is that the voice-over announces that you will have to be prepared to team up. Hitman Sniper Assassins may well be a multiplayer mobile game. If snipers are generally perceived as lone wolves, they may have to work as a team, coordinating and communicating. This idea of teamwork is reinforced by the title, as we notice that "assassin" is in the plural...
