Like every year, many mobile games have been released and have punctuated the seasons. But which game made the biggest impression on you? For our part, it is difficult to choose among the many candidates. Each one has its own arguments and the comparison between different genres is not easy. However, the 2020 Google Play Awards have given their verdict. The company has decided to crown Genshin Impact as the best game of the year. The RPG succeeds Call of Duty mobile, winner in 2019.
By its very nature, a ranking is subjective, but everyone will agree that the game developed by miHoYo was the highlight of the year. Highly anticipated by the community, it was a huge success when it was released and is still in the spotlight today.
But the 2020 Google Play Awards did not only reward Genshin Impact. Other games such as Legends of Runeterra and The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross were also honoured.

We are pleased to announce that Genshin Impact has won 3 prestigious Google Play Awards: "Best Game of 2020", "Users' Choice" and "Best Innovative Games" in many countries!

As there were several categories in the 2020 Google Play Awards, there are several winners. Especially since for some of the awards, it was a list of games that was selected rather than a single winner. However, it was Genshin Impact which made the biggest impression in this 2020 vintage. The RPG won the two most important awards(Best Game and People's Choice) as well as being present in the selection of the best innovative games.

With ifs, we can remake the world and there is no need to get into heated debates to defend this or that game. The 2020 Google Play Awards have given their verdict and it won't change. But we can still highlight two omissions.
Teamfight Tactics, for example, fits into several categories. It has brought the auto-chess genre up to date and has shown that it has a real competitive potential. The world champion, Double61, is also French. Among Us could also have claimed some distinctions. The game is played a lot on PC, but the number of mobile players is also important.
What about you? What do you think of the results of the 2020 Google Play Awards?
