Free Fire is a reference in the world of mobile Battle Royale. You'd think that would be enough for these developers. However, not satisfied with the graphics of the current title, they are doing it again with the release of Free Fire MAX next week. We take a look at the differences between Free Fire and Free Fire MAX as well as the news surrounding the release of this mobile game.
Available for pre-registration for a while, Garena's new title wasn't making much of a splash. But we now know the release date of Free Fire MAX, as you may have read in the title, which is set for September 28, 2021. Attention BR fans who have been dreaming of a major graphical update: you have until September 27 to pre-register, obviously. The 30-second trailer reveals some known features so I suggest you watch it.
If you're thinking you'll play the game when it comes out, keep in mind that pre-registrations are worthwhile. Usually, you get exclusiverewards free games to start your adventure or your games in the game. This is also the case here. You can pre-register on Playstore or Appstore.

On release, Free Fire MAX does everything as its predecessor did. The free-to-play formula doesn't move an inch and a layer of optimisation is added to multiple aspects of the game to get the MAX revisit. In addition, you'll be able to take advantage of a brand new map customisation feature.
The question you should also ask yourself is: will Free Fire and MAX players be able to play together? Well, yes! Crossplay will be there from launch. This is still the best decision for the studio, which would have had to split its player base in the opposite case. Finally, you should know that your game data is transferred from one account to the other if you play Free Fire MAX on a tablet and Free Fire on a phone, for example. Remember that MAX has long been listed on our pre-registration and upcoming games page. So be sure to check it out to avoid missing out on any new mobile nuggets!
