Now that's news we didn't see coming! Removed from the stores more than 10 years ago, despite generating more than $50K in advertising revenue per day and boasting more than 100 million players, Flappy Bird is set to make a comeback! First on browsers, then on Android and iOS in 2025, with a whole host of new features!
Neither the game's original creator Dong Nguyen nor its publisher Gametech Holdings are behind the return of the iconic game. If you're excited about Flappy Bird's return, then you have a group of fans called the Flappy Bird Foundation to thank, whose aim was to resurrect the iconic mobile game by buying the licence.

The other good news is that you won't have to wait too long to get your hands on Flappy Bird again, as the game is coming to browser and other platforms (though these have not been specified) by the end of October 2024.

On the programme: 10 new worlds to explore, additional game modes, multiplayer challenges and new characters will be added to the original content.
Of course, it's impossible to imagine the return of Flappy Bird without a release on Android and iOS. But for that to happen, we'll have to wait until 2025, and no specific date has yet been announced. So be patient before you rediscover this iconic title, which I'm sure will have driven some of you mad.

In the meantime, don't hesitate to visit the official Flappy Bird website or the X page (formerly Twitter) to keep up to date!
