With a mysterious first trailer, the announcement of Chaos Zero Nightmare creeps into our news feed. Let's find out what this post-apocalyptic RPG with anime graphics has up its sleeve if it is to succeed E7 and make its way onto our phones in the near future.
Smilegate and Super Creative are no strangers to games. With Epic Seven and Outerplane already behind them, they have quite a substantial mobile RPG portfolio. And that portfolio is about to get even bigger, as they've just announced Chaos Zero Nightmare, their new title, with a cinematic trailer.

For CZN, the theme is always science fiction. In this gacha RPG, the Earth has been devastated by the Chaos plague, which has forced humans to leave their planet. Security protocols and technological missions have been put in place to repel the enemy and manipulate minds.

The result is Chaos Zero Nightmare, a mission that failed, if official reports are to be believed, but which offers us the chance to play as endearing characters traumatised to the depths of their being.
From hope to despair and back again. Cosmic Loop RPG, Chaos Zero Nightmare.
Coming to you soon in 2024.
In addition to CZN's punchy trailer, which you can watch below, we also find out that the game is scheduled for 2024! There's no need to wait forever to try your luck in the time loop. We don't know the exact release date of Chaos Zero Nightmare, but it shouldn't be too long.
Will CZN's announcement be enough to replace E7 in the hearts of fans? In any case, taking over from Epic Seven is no easy task.
We were first treated to a few seconds of teaser video that I discovered by scrolling through r/gachagaming, followed by the release of the full Chaos Zero Nightmare trailer a few days later. I'll let you have a look, but don't expect any gameplay.
Does it make you want to play? If the announcement is to be believed, Chaos Zero Nightmare will be available in 2024 on Android and iOS as a free-to-play game, and we can't wait to see what all the fuss is about.
Some people are jokingly calling it Epic 9. Outerplane would be Epic 8 and the original Epic Seven. What we want to know is whether it will be Epic or not.
