Teased over a very short time, Alien: Isolation mobile is out today. During this short teaser period, SEGA and Creative Assembly have revealed their plans to release the game simultaneously on both OS. This will delight gamers who can't easily switch to the Apple side and who grind their teeth at the general increase in the number of Apple Arcade exclusives (I'm thinking of Disney Melee Mania or LEGO games, for example).
Released on iOS this morning, Alien: Isolation mobile will make you wait a few more hours today for its release on Android. Let's check out the trailer for SEGA's horrific survival game if you haven't seen it yet:
As a reminder, Alien: Isolation was first released on Playstation and Xbox consoles in October 2014. The story has Ellen Ripley's daughter Amanda travelling to the space station where her mother disappeared... only to discover the threat we, as gamers, know. Amanda must survive by equipping herself with what she finds as she surveys room after room of Sebastopol.
Note that the base game is available for $15 on the Playstore and Appstore. It includes the seven existing DLCs and will take up about 120MB on your device. It's up to you to decide if the game is worth the money (or the price).
And, if you're a thrill seeker, our youtuber Scaru has put together a top horror mobile game for you. In a slightly different style, Propnight should be coming to our Android and iOS devices to offer a revisit of the 4v1 asymmetric horror genre with a Prophunt-like functionality.
