My final opinion of Skullgirls
Skullgirls is THE fighting game for those unfamiliar with the genre, thanks to a minimalist UI that puts the action at the heart of the screen and its comprehensive Training mode, ideal for learning to master the controls. But Skullgirls also has a lot to offer those used to versus fighting: use strategy when choosing combos and building teams.
The title also has an RPG dimension, allowing you to boost the unique skills of the characters you can collect throughout the adventure. It's true that Skullgirls has a gacha system, but don't worry, it's pretty F2P friendly: you won't need to break the bank to beat your opponents!
Skullgirls may be criticised for its short story mode, but the multiple game modes, especially multiplayer, make for a very long lifespan. We can't recommend this unique DA game enough, whatever your experience of versus fighting!
I didn't like fighting games. Then I tried Skullgirls.
