Positive points
- The perfect party game for playing (and betraying) with friends
- Fun, even when you get knocked out at the start of the game
- Cross-platform, a very welcome feature
- Fast-paced, easy-to-play games
Negative points
- Mini-games a little too repetitive
- The absence of in-game voice chat
- Less interesting if played with random players
My final opinion of Among Us
Among Us has not fallen short of the huge success it enjoyed in 2020. The game offers a genuinely fun experience, even if we regret that the mobile version doesn't feature in-game chat or proximity chat (available via a secondary app). The absence of this feature makes games with random players a little shaky.
But with friends, you'll enjoy investigating or using your cunning to betray your team-mates, without getting caught red-handed. Even being betrayed by the impostor will put a smile on your face! Especially as you'll be able to take part as a ghost in the debriefings that punctuate each game, where teammates pool their thoughts to flush out the impostor! But if you're more into cooperation than betrayal, you can check out our top co-op games.
Among Us can accommodate up to 15 players per game and is free on mobile, so make the most of it! And if you're looking for other similar titles, you can always check out our selection of games like Among Us.
You'll love hating your friends in Among Us!
