The independent game Gris, published by Devolver, offers a dreamlike and fabulous experience that is not to be missed. In addition to its presence on iOS and PS4, it has been given the gift of appearing on the Google Playstore on the occasion of the general lockdown.
For those of you who have never heard of the game, let me give you some good reasons to appreciate its arrival on Android! For starters, Gris is a unique game. It is a clear and powerful dreamlike experience, full of emotions. Moreover, the game does not offer any real challenge: it is a journey to be experienced and felt.

Gris is a young girl lost in an imaginary world she has created, the world of grief she must live with. Dressed in an ethereal dress, she travels through it acquiring new powers that will open up paths of existence before her eyes that were previously invisible. Gris uses simplicity and poetry to convey its message. From the art direction to the music, everything is conducive to enchantment.

Indeed, the game does not bother with endless paragraphs. The images and sounds are enough to convey what Gris is trying to say. Between platforming and light puzzles, Gris easily transports us into the depths of his soul.
Note that Gris is a little indie wonder that has been received with honours by the press. Don't hesitate to have a look at it on the Playstore or in video on Youtube: it's worth the diversions.
If Gris indeed offers a poetic world with polished and colourful visuals, it is also the case of other titles such as those of the Monument Valley series, known worldwide for its originality and its well-crafted artistic direction. There's nothing like a good game to get away from it all when you're stuck at home for weeks...

So why not jump at the chance to download Monument Valley 2 for free during lockdown? Despite its short lifespan, you'll certainly have fun going through the levels with their well thought-out logic and impossible geometry. You'll be able to tickle your neurons alone or with your family for a while!
And if these two titles don't appeal to you or you've already got your hands on them, check out our top mobile games for containment!
