The Duelist

  • Expert in single-target DPS

The Mage is one of the two original Sword x Staff classes. They are efficient spellcasters, capable of fighting from a distance. They inflict a lot of damage, but their HP and defence are rather low. They can also summon and provide crowd control. The Mage comes in two Sword x Staff sub-classes:

The Sorcerer, one of the Sword x Staff classes

The Sorcerer

  • The multi-target DPS expert
  • Can switch elements (wind, lightning, fire, water)
  • The dodging pro
  • The perfect class for crowd control
The Sage, one of the Sword x Staff classes

The Sage

  • Inflicts damage reduction debuffs
  • Summoning expert

  • High HP

Which starting class should I choose?

Your choice of starting class in Sword x Staff depends on your preferred style of play, as well as your level.

  • Warrior : recommended for beginner players. Warriors have a lot of HP and even if they fight hand-to-hand, the chances of losing a fight are lower.
  • Mage: This Sword x Staff class is recommended for more experienced players who aren't afraid to take risks. You'll need to upgrade your character quickly, to strengthen him and increase his HP and defence.

When can I change class in Sword x Staff?

Didn't make the right choice from the initial Sword x Staff classes? To change class, you need to reach character level 100. Please note: character level is different from class level:

  • Character level: this is your hero's level. It is independent of your hero's class level.
