Our Solo Leveling:ARISE tier list go from S rank to C rank, with S rank bringing together the most operational characters, while C rank brings together characters that you can use... until you get S rank characters!

As we said in our Solo Leveling:ARISE beginner's guide, you can choose to highlight 4 hunters and SSR weapons, which will therefore have a higher drop rate than the other SSRs in the Selection Draw. So don't hesitate to target one of the SSRs in tier S.

Our Solo Leveling:ARISE Tier list contains 5 absolutely essential characters to summon. Two of them are temporary characters, so don't hesitate to spend your Essence Stones and Draw Tickets to try and obtain them. Their weapons, meanwhile, can be obtained by completing the events available during the banner period.

The other three are characters in the Selection Draw, so you can select them for a better chance of getting them as soon as you get an SSR.

Seo Jiwoo, the best Solo Leveling:ARISE character

The first featured character in our Solo Leveling:ARISE tier list is none other than the mighty Seo Jiwoo. Even though she's in the 'Tanker' category, she's very powerful, as her attacks and skills are proportional to her HP. So she can do a lot of damage while still being able to take a lot of damage once she's built up properly.

One of her features is that she can apply break with all her attacks except simple attacks. Defensively speaking, Seo Jiwoo is an essential addition to any team as she applies shields to all your characters, increasing your survivability.

What's more, her Passive Skill has the power to increase the power of her skills while reducing their cooldown each time her abilities and attacks are used. For all these reasons, she's the best of our Solo Leveling:ARISE tier list and you should build this character as a priority if you get it.

Emma Laurent

First and foremost, Emma Laurent is a character exclusive to Solo Leveling:ARISE, meaning she doesn't appear in the webtoon. The developers have therefore made her a very powerful character, capable ofapplying Break with literally all her abilities, even with the simple attack. Like Seo Jiwoo, he's a Tanker whose damage scales with his HP.

Note also that his passive skill is very powerful, as it allows him to benefit from the Heat Absorption effect, which increases his defense, and to give the Heat Emission effect to the whole team, which increases defence penetration as well as the Fire damage inflicted. This makes him one of the best characters in our Solo Leveling:ARISE tier list.

Ming Byung-Gu

Ming Byung-Gu is quite simply the best healer in theSolo Leveling:ARISE tier list. He far surpasses Lee Joohee, the game's other healer, who can be obtained for free as you progress through the story. Even though extreme dodges allow you to avoid a huge amount of damage, you still have to succeed. If you don't, or if you take too much damage, Byung-Gu will allow you to succeed in difficult battles.

A Light character, he has a very interesting buff that reduces the damage received by 50% by applying the Disguise state to your team. As for his Judgement of Righteousness ability, it allows you to receive healing over time. By obtaining it even just once, you'll be able toincrease the survival potential of your compo.
